  • So sorry to watch. This is how my poor girl Miyah was. She had always problems, but eventually it was too much and she'd often trip over herself. She wanted to keep going but was in too much pain in the end.

  • @kevbayliss Thanks very much for your comments Kev. Cheers!

  • this is so hard to watch. Life's not fair to us, let alone our pets :-[

  • You are welcome. We are located in Sun City, in Riverside County, in Southern California.

  • This video breaks my heart. I breed GSDs and starting DNA testing my dogs last year for this horrible disease. Luckily all of my dogs are clear except one female that carries one gene. Every puppy I produce is clear or from her could carry one gene, she will only be bred to my DM CLEAR male. I am so sorry for what you and others have to endure with this horrible disease. I hope every day that more breeders will begin testing so we can eradicate this disease from our beloved breed. Thank you.

  • @WCGermanShepherds Thanks for your comment. Where on the west coast are you?

  • My GSD LiLi also had DM. LiLi made it to 14+ years old and had a very good quality of life thanks to "Missing Link" supplement on her food. NOT Missing Link Plus because the Glucosamine Chondroiton in the Plus actually works against DM (no matter what some vets say) please know I became extremely informed about DM via a vet at Cornell University. Missing Link regular was an absolute God send for my LiLi. you will notice the difference within a month, I assure you! I am NOT a sales rep.
