well, the h1 and the hmmwv are built on the same assembly line, they are just finished separatly, because the military needs a 24v electrical system, and the civilian version gets nice insides, thats why the hmmwv can go under water is because of the elctrical system, but the h1 if properly setup can go more then 3 feet, so technically they are the same, just finished different, no joke man

kinda late on this one but..you are correct my friend. I was in the army for 5 years. Most of the HMMWV(highly mobile multipurpose wheeled vehicle) are beat to hell. I know my unit, we had the 6.2 NON turbo diesel. you wanna talk about a turd. well we went to Iraq and they both got blown up(lost 2 freinds btw) then we got the 6.5's which are wayyyyy more potent..and the suspension is beefed up to handle the extra weight of the armor.
