  • That sort of melody is good enough to make heads bob.

  • I believe Paul does a lot of the vocals on this track.

  • i dont understand why when paul makes a pop-rock album it is recieved rather positively but when marty friedman released "future addict" people thought it sucked.

  • Yep it's pretty annoying... Maybe because Paul is also well-known as a pop fan, more than Marty ? Or maybe just because people are a little stupid and just didn't understand Friedman...

  • Maybe people just like this more? Could be that simple.

  • Simple solutions are always the best :)

  • @acex1989 isn't marty the guitarist of megadeth or something? caus if he is, people may not expect this type of music from him xD

  • @acex1989 its because paul is more of a pop artist than marty is, he is best known for being the lead guitarist in megadeth, a lot of his fans are also megadeth fans so of course people are going to think it sucks.

  • @acex1989 Marty Friedman is amazing, but also people don't really know who he is unfortunately.

  • 3:O6

  • ya t digo migue xD

  • This album is awesome.. it got some time to get used to actually.. but.. now i love it.

Sadly.. some jackasses managed to somehow step on the whole thing.. the cover got smashed, but the original cd survived :D<3

  • i never even knew this album existed

time to go out and get it

  • i CANT FIND ANY TAB! this sux! this song is amazing!

  • this is fucking sick!!!!!!!!!

  • album kicks ass

  • i was in a cd store and asked about paul gilbert. this was the onlyone they had... and i now wish that i buyd it... did'nt think it would be soo good!

  • I was in a record store and asked about Paul Gilbert and they hadn't had anything by him in four years :-(

  • @Bluebuthappy182 Same with me. Isn't it a shame?

  • The first time I heard this I thought, "Emerald" maybe a little homage to Thin Lizzy.

  • Anyone else get reminded of Thin Lizzy 2:17?

  • Its very Thin Lizzy. But, more up to date, quite Wolfmother-y.

  • Totally agree, i can actually spot some irish phrasing towards the end.

  • Love this song. Although my father perfers, Paris Hilton Look-A-Like more. :P

  • That sounds like Paul on vocals.

  • I'm pretty sure he sings a bit on this too, he does have a good voice.

  • I loved when he did foxy lady on g3

  • this is the "lone track",as he calls it, that he does lead vocals on. freddie does the high harmony

  • Yeah, I saw the UG interview too!

  • Yeah same

  • think they sure them

  • It is! How great is that! Paul is singing as well as playing again. There's a video of him playing this song live.

  • Yeaaa!!! Paul Gilbert and Freddie!!

  • Cool riff. Can't wait to see this band from this album live with paul. Is it me or did they forget to mic the drums on this album?

  • it might be that, the only thing i hear a big problem with is lack of bass.. but youtube isn't great with keeping bass in songs so, it may just be youtube.

i wish this was out in the US now... :\ the versions i have of these songs all skip. how irritating...

  • off are your ears

  • It's kinda an ambient mic'ed kit, but it's out of the pocket in the mix. Some of it is that it's just too loud, but it's also because the drum sounds they chose don't really work in the mix. Still, certainly not the worst mix I've ever heard.

  • I'm assuming they were going for a very live feel with this mix.

  • the guy sings greaaaaaat!

  • ahh love that riffage
