I actually think Dance Little Liar's lyrics are the best of Alex's as regards the whole song, its just perfect. Same with View from the Afternoon, Fake Tales, You probably couldn't see for the lights.., Ritz to rubble, Flourescent adolescent (although he got help writing them ones), Too much to ask, no buses, despair in the departure lounge.. Any1 else think Alex's Lyrics and Matt's drums are what make Monkeys the best?

The original demo was just that. A demo, and so the lyrics were changed and updated when the EP "Who the fuck are Arctic Monkey's" was released with the view from the afternoon. He may have been drunk when he sung this; but the lyrics were exactly the same as the EP with the updated song... he didn't forget the words, muppet.
