Hi hi! Have you ever tried the British Box Breakout (search on google)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate made a ton of winning trades.
But if my maths are not completely wrong to me it seems assuming you will win 15,4% on a trade is assuming too much. I am not trying to be rude or anything so please do not think that. This are just my assumptions about the ATR Multiple if anyone could tell me where I am wrong in my thoughts or math please enlighten me because this is excactly what I am wondering about. Hopefully I have missunderstood something..
Hello I just viewed your video and was wondering about your ATR Multiple of 2.2. If you calculate the percent you are willing to loose (18.8 - 15.9) / (18,8) = 0.154 or 15,4 %. And are willling to loose 1400 USD, and use these numbers to calculate how many stocks you can buy, this also mean that if your entry method has a 50/50 win/loose probablility you need to win about 15,4% (1400USD) just to break-even if you are using this ATR setting for all your stocks wich you ofcourse do not.
