@HuskiesxXx People arent hating on Marcus' version or Marcus' as a singer, but simply the fact that not only has he done a cover for his debut single (which is a bit of a joke to me) but he has not even written his own version of it, instead simply copied Ben's note for note. Ben covered this song in his own unique style once he had established himself as a singer and musician, this was not his first song, and yeah, its not his, but he made it his own, he didnt copy someone elses.

Do you not know Ben can;t do ANYTHING about this LOL, it wasn't his song in the first place, it belngs to the white stripes, so they are the only guys who can do anything about it. And they won't as they have given the right for Marcus to cover it. Ben changed it yes but it is a White Stripes song not his song. If everyone just stuck to coming up with original music there would be no real problem
