  • If really nice you can give your hamster an alive mealworm, i couldn't find an alive one so i bought some dried ones at pet shop. :D

  • @petitepure Our pet store has live mealworms, they're in the refrigerator near the reptiles. You might ask your store if they have or can get them. My hamsters loved live mealworms. I raise my own now.

  • is dat a maze?

  • @MultiCarlososorio

    Yes, that's a maze.

  • Zebedee loved mealworms from about the age of six weeks on.

  • in mealworms aspect..think of the pain of their body being grinded away by hamsters incisors..

  • it's sooo cute!

  • The cage (maze) is a plastic bin from Wal-mart. The dividers in the maze are Plexiglas, I cut it to fit the bin. The items in the maze are things I had around the house.

  • Where did u get all the stuff for the cage at?

  • Zebedee "Om nom nom nom!"

  • It does sound like it's scared. Try this: instead of picking up your hamster with your hand, put a cup in the cage and let your hamster crawl into it. Pick up the cup with your hamster, hold the cup up to your other hand. Wait and let the hamster decide when it wants to come out and be held.

  • If ur a hamster expert soo plzz answear me now

When i pick up my hamsters they start to shake all over the body atleast that what i think cause they shakes when their at my hand anyways does that mean it doesnt like getting picked up and i should just leave them be????

  • let them get to know you by letting them sniff your hand ,hand feed it and ect

  • Mealworms are not really worms at all. They are the larvae of the darkling beetle, the technical name is Tenebrionidae. They are healthy for hamsters, a high source of protein. In the wild hamsters eat a variety of insects.
