I'd like to see build up pictures if there is any! That swap looks great and oddly enough my father is building a 53 f100 pickup and bought a 96 caddy and we just discussed how feasible this swap is. Any way we could get in contact with the builders to get some info? Nice truck! I myself am building a 55.
@HillBillyF100 Thanks, it was about 13 or so hours of Paint time! both colors are high metallic and its s huge surface area! It was a fun build though.. It made it to Sema last year and was a Featured Vehicle there. Which was a huge blessing and surprise! Have fun with yours they are awesome and easy trucks to build!
@v12tommy Yes, this is his truck. we were blessed to do the bodywork, paint, and some of the metal fabrication for Sam. It is setup for wheel chair access trhough the rear door of the truck!
@v12tommy Yeah, Marv is a great guy and super nice. He let us stay in his home in Vegas while we did the final sand an buff on this truck before SEMA 2010. They are super cool folks! I can't wait to see them again on our next vegas trip!
@69fordf250 Awesome. I can't believe this was at SEMA and I missed it. Was it in a booth or out front? I must have totally been off my game this year at SEMA because I know I missed at least a dozen cars I would have liked to see, as well as multiple products I walked right past and didn't notice either. I didn't even get to the Ford display until after close on Friday while they were disassembling everything.
@v12tommy We were outside of the main entrance of building number one in the half circle driveway entrance area with all of the SEMA picked 2010 feature vehicles (right near the K&N Hummer that was lifted off the frame and was displaying the engine and drivetrain). The Ford display was awesome, they had an amazing looking dually this year and a few one off mustangs. If you get a chance look up the CHROME painted convertable mustang they had this year it was really clean and stylish!
@Whatthe243 ...YES the truck is front wheel drive. from the front floors were the front seats are forward to the the radiator support it is all completley factory from a 06 cadillac with a Northstar drivetrain and factory cadillac wiring harness. The frame was removed from the truck and the two bodies were fabricated into one unibody with the rear floors and wheel tubs completley fabricated to match the factory rear cadillac suspension as well on Air.the front seats to the back is all hand made
