From here, it became Fox 8 news, until recently owned by Fox Television Stations Group. Now it is owned by Local TV, and still is the ONLY Fox affiliate with the historic 3 letter call sign.

...just because you spell it "ei8ht" in the logo doesn't mean you have to spell it that way in station promos....
