  • Scott,

I sent an e-mail to Happy Vapor regarding the eGo Booster and the eGo-C battery. There were a few advances in the battery between the eGo-T and the eGo-C. Brian got back to me and stated:

"The Ego Booster is indeed compatible with the eGo-C. Which is good because we love the eGo-C. I'm vaping on a Boosted C right now."

With that said, all eGo-C users rejoice! We can use the eGo Booster with our eGo-C!

    Cheers!

  • @Schultz1981

okay mate, thanks for the info! :D

    cheers

    scott

  • Its almost pointless to get this now considering you can get a unlabeled lavatube for 49.99 and a kit for 69.99 which comes with everything.

  • @cdnerds where can I grab one of these?

    Cheers.

  • Hello Scott,

I know this video isn't one of your newest....

but can i get a link to the tank you are using with the ego here?

Any other tanks you know of that will fit the 510 ego would be awesome as well...

i just put in my order for mine :)

  • @liquorbox420

    hi mate,

i was using a tank called an ARRY Tank, but there is a better version of it now called a ACTv3.

check out the "Tank Systems" section of my website to check them out:-

  • Hi Scott, this booster stay at 4.7v for all the charge?

It works with LR atomizer at 4.7v or set automatically less volts?

  • @fraciccio9579

    hi mate,

the Ego batteries retain a constant voltage level throughout during use, so the same will apply when using the Booster :)

im not 100% sure about the LR atomisers at 4.7v......i never tried it because you should not use LR atomisers at high voltages (they will die very quickly!)

    cheers

    scott

  • @fraciccio9579 LR atomizers are not meant to be used higher than 3.7v, it can damage both the atomizer and the battery. It doesn't seem that this is common knowledge, because I see so many reviews on vendors sites with the LR attys, saying they suck because they put it on their 6v device and it didn't last 2 mins, etc. I think more vendors need to have an in your face notice about this in their LR atty adverts. LR attys are for low voltage. Period.

  • that juice looks really thick

  • Hey scott, great review mate, would this vc work on a ggts with a standard 18650?

    Thanks mate

  • @OrganDonors

    hi mate,

as far as i can recall, the manufacturer did say that it should work well with an 18650 battery ;)

    cheers

    scott

  • nice review! I'm using LR attys with regular ego battery and I hate the inconsistency of LR atomizers...how do you think using this device at 4+ volts with a regular 510 atty would compare with a regular ego + LR atty? (in terms of throat hit and consistency)

  • @hendrix2430

    hi mate,

i found that a regular atty when combined ith the Ego booster delivers a great vape.......im sure you would really like it too! :D

    cheers

    scott

  • I love how your'e mesmerised by your smoke rings! They are pretty impressive tho!

  • @Dani8132m

    lol........i find them hypnotic!

    cheers mate! :D

  • my question is although it makes it a variable voltage device, is does it stay at the regulated voltage or does it deplete with the battery?

  • @smokeyjoe713

    hi mate,

it regulates the voltage so it stays constant :)

    cheers

    scott

  • yep, all of the ego style batts have a pulse of 4.2v. a guy showed me one day by looking at the battery with some kind of scope thingy. i'm not too big on all that stuff but it made sense. side by side an ego/inferno compared to a straight 3.7v device, the inferno/ego out performs the 3.7 device

  • This device looks pretty awesome. I could see paying around 25 or 30 dollars for it, but 70 bucks seems way too high for me. As you can buy a cheap VV box mod and get a wider range of voltages for around 50 bucks with batteries and a charger.

  • Hi scott, I've been watching your videos for the past few months and really enjoyed your reviews. I am a big fan of the menthol flavor, just wondering what juice are you using? I find it real hard to find a good menthol ejuice, wonder if it is possible for you to make a review on menthol flavored juices or maybe recommend a few which you enjoy. Cheers mate, keep up the good work!

  • @jeremywjj

    hi mate,

my fave menthol juice is the "Eskimo" from Liberro.........i love that stuff! :D

you can find the review in the "E-Liquid" section of my site by clicking the "Liquid Purity" link found there

    scott

  • thank you so much! will definitely check it out :)

  • Received my ego booster on Saturday and I dearly love it! My other mods are collecting dust. As always, thanks for the review Scott!

  • @sister4strings

    hi mate,

glad to hear that you like it too! :D

    cheers

    scott

  • Reviews don't come any better than yours Scott.

    Another great one mate!

  • @ECiggyman

    cheers mate! :D

  • It's a shame that the dial (for the voltage) doesn't match up with the button on the battery. It looks a little odd having the dial on the side and the button on the front.

An unboosted ego, under load, outputs 3.2v.. which is why I have 3 ego batteries gathering dust; and also why I am interested in this product.. will wait for it to be available in other stores though because standard shipping from Canada is a little unpredictable and their rates for "tracked" shipping is excessive.

  • Wow, what a fascinating, genius device! Great product name, too. Thanks for the look at it, very well done!

  • @missjenibee

    cheers mate! :D

  • will this work with the tornado battery?

  • @SoulSharter

    hi mate,

yes, the EGO Booster will work with TW Tornado batteries ;)

    cheers

    scott

  • Awesome review Scott!! Wow, a great accessory for the ego users..Might try this on my Precise. One question though Scott, how long does the ego last with that booster connected? Once again, great review Scott!!

  • @vapingmonkey

    hi mate,

    cheers! :D

there isnt a major drop in battery life........i personally find its reduced by around an hour

    cheers

    scott

  • Great review Scott;) I have one coming in to review also.Looking forward to trying it out now.

  • @TheHawtAngel

    hi mate,

im sure you will be pretty impressed with it too.........its a really cool little add on! :D

    cheers

    scott

  • Thanks just ordered one of these

  • omg Scott, it must be nice to be on the front lines of the vaping evolution. What a great idea - Ego Booster. Count me in!

  • Great review as usual sir! Interesting device.. not sure if it is worth the price at the moment. I think I'll wait until the early adopters have their way with it before taking the plunge

  • Rocking Video as always, keep up the great work!

  • @mathewrtaylor

    cheers mate! :D

  • Quite pricey :/

  • Another great review

  • @Deeked

    Cheers mate! :D

  • looks a bit naff? lol.had the famous brits here in bc for 1 week never heard them say naff.. ha!

  • good to hear more vaping tiltles instead of ciggie cigarette titles,im sick of ciggies, havent had one for 1.8yrs.this looks pretty damn good for vaping.thanks mate.btw i have low suga.gotta gets me some chocolate.

  • So for a .7 volt gain, you pay quite a lot-do you find the battery life is reduced very much by using the highest setting Scott?

  • @GalaxyHorse

    hi mate,

there isnt a major drop in battery life........i personally find its reduced by around an hour

    cheers

    scott

  • I think the arry (sp?) tank looks ridiculous on the eGo battery. lol Although, I think it's be a lot easier to prevent the battery from firing when in your pocket.

The booster sounds like an interesting addition to the eGo, though. I think it'd be especially helpful for newbies to try out different settings to see what they like, and they can move onto another device if they chose to do so. Great review!

  • @JohnnyElsewhereTV

    hi mate,

to be fair, i think the ARRY Tank looks ridiculous on any device, lol...........works great though! :D

    cheers

    scott

  • @igetcha69 Have you shown a video using the arry tank on a tube mod like the Silver Bullet or the Omega, or something like that? It looks like it would fit uniformly with the width of those mods. It may still look ridiculous, but at least it would look uniform. lol

Thanks for the reply, Scott. I really like watching your reviews. :)

  • @JohnnyElsewhereTV

    hi mate,

in my review of the ARRY Tank i used it on my Provari which is pretty much the same width the as the ARRY ;)

    cheers

    scott

  • Very nice looking device. The price is a little high for me, but if I ever get the chance I will surely get one. Thanks for the review Scott.

    -Steve

  • @igetcha69 I think you should get a nice voltmeter with 510 connector, like ones which comes with Buzz or Infinity, for more clearness in your videos with varivolt devices.

  • @lutobor13

ive got one mate, just not too fussed about using them in my vids........it works and works well :D

    cheers

    scott

  • Cool!
