  • woot long live Howard :P

Your videos are very informative and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing.

  • love your videos - thank you so much for them!

  • que seisi x'D

  • awesome!

  • They give these guys a freebie app or greatly discounted to plug the new product(s) to everyone else. I have CS4 - paid full price and on the technical homefront virtually nothing of great value different than CS3.

  • did you pay for CS4?

  • duh......

  • not neccessarily, I have photoshop Cs3 extended version,and I didn't pay for it :D

  • he pays for porn as well

  • Howard, you are so good at explaining what you are doing AND WHY. When I get my next PC, I'll be able to use CS4 rather than Elements 3.0. But thanks to you... I'll be prepared.

  • Great tut!

  • thanks!

  • If you know image processing, or signal processing... it doesn't take a lot of trial and error :)

Maybe I'll start a line of tutorials on how blending modes, filters and adjustments are actually implemented , so anyone (who knows a little math) would see what's going on behind the scenes, or maybe build their own drawing application :P

  • Once again something that prob wouldn't be possible using paint and my old school boy ways of doing things. I'm really warming to the idea of having a crack with CS4, something that when i looked at about a year ago (obv was CS3 then) scared me with all the options and now thanks to the power of Youtube and some excellent guided help i too can have a go with this.

    Thanks alot matey

  • Great vid!

  • Great tip for a quick retouch.

    Keep it up dude!

  • Great video man!

Love the way you focus on whats important.

    Keep it up!

  • Thanks! Great Video Tutorial! I have tried it on my pictures and works great! Keep posting!

  • good way .. thanx :)

  • now I have a hint for you, IceFlow: If you press "ALT" when having a dialogue open, the CANCLE button turns into a "RESET". This way you can easily set back parameters to the default :-)

    Masa

  • awesome! I just got CS4, but I have a BIG problem! when I want to draw with the brush, I want to draw for example a head, my brush just draw straight lines =X so I can't really draw curves!!! what can I do!!!! pleaseeee!! this tutorial is helping me lots! :D

  • awesome

  • very useful for my photo editing now...Thx

  • i am so glad you do what you do because if it wast for you i probally be so frustrated i would have to go out and kick a baby

  • شكرا لك . Thanks

  • FAST

  • I have a problem. I have very old pictures that have red on them. I want to fix them and i am sure that there is a way to do that but i don't knwo how. can you do a video on that?

  • go to Image > Adjustments > Variations. And click More Cyan. This should hopefully remove the Red colour cast on your photos.

  • GREAT !! ThanX :D

  • My compliments from Holland, nice work :D

  • Quick tip: I you wanna "pop the default settings back", just hold down ALT and you'll notice that the cancel button turns into a reset button... At least on a Mac it does. I dunno about PC.

  • Awesome! :)

  • Thanks man this is very usefull thing I use to use curves to do that and it sucks ( I am not that good with photoshop)

THanks man I get to learn so much from you :D

  • nice work

  • great stuff howard, thanks again for all the imformative videos.

  • thank you so much :)

  • nice video once again

  • howard rocks

  • who cares!! i mean it woould be a lot easier if they had a botton that said "auto adjust"

but then again they want to complicate things!

i do like ur videos, and i love your pronunciations =]

  • auto adjust is basically the default settings. But, since photoshop is a professional image editor it gives you more advanced options.

  • thanks

  • Awesome.

  • Excellent as usual, Howard. Thanks.

  • Wow you're brilliant with Photoshop! Thanks for the tips.

  • great video Ice, I will certainly use apply this to my photos! :) Thanks
