I am an aussie through and through but in the world cup it was not the ref that lost it for us!! Italy should never have had the chance to dive in the box. we were the better team on the day but we still lost thats just football and it is sometimes not fair!!!

It was a joke. I'll be bitter about being knocked out of the World Cup by someone worthy of an Oscar, for a long time yet. And we took chances - but when it comes down to it, 1 player difference isn't anything spectacular. 2 or 3 players - that's different. The tackle wasnt really convincing n Grosso took the chance to dive very well indeed n everyone dives not just Italians.. Totti scored the pen Schwarzer couldnt keep it out. Socceroos didnt take chances nuf said.
