they look like UH60s to me and yeah the UH1Y now has the quad main rotor but the rear stab is slightly less wide than the body of the craft. the UH60 stab is about a 8inches wider on each side than the width of the chopper itself. so to me close but i dont think there UH1Y's and those are usually painted marine grey anyhow.

Nope, blackhawks have horizonal stabiliser hanging off the rear of the boom & its a big 1 piece movable unit. these clearly are smaller & mounted to the tail boom 3/4 way back making them hueys. plus UH-60s are quieter, you can distintly hear that signature Huey rotor slap. our national guard unit has both types so I do know their differences.

OK, Look, Every state has either regular army or national guard helicopters and as a current crewmember on UH-60's I can tell you that we abide by all FAA regulations in the flying that we do. We do fly over you house, ball fields and everything else.. and in formation for practice. AND FOR THE LAST TIME THEY ARE NOT PAINTED BLACK!! They do SO have nav-lights! Are you insane? By the way, any pilot of any aircraft can turn off all the nav-lights. If you see a helicopter without the lights on, first ask yourself, "If I can see it, does it need it's lights on?" If you can't see it at all, it could be hidden by clouds or something. Or, the pilot forgot to turn them on, or, the Army may be doing some kind of training (I don't know what, I'm not a heli-pilot).

Not necessarily, these are obviously military helicopters and we fly around all the time at night under black out...zero light (on occasion we'll have our IR lights on but they can only be seen under night vision goggles). Any other aircraft, you are correct they would need to have some type of anti collision light or strobe on.
