All that is happening is that the page itself is being changed. The armor your character shows on bungie is based off of a series of numbers relating to the type of body part. By changing the specific number in the url, the output of the picture is 'temporarily' changed, resulting in any armor you wish. However, it will not give you recon in the game and will disappear on your profile the moment you leave the page.

This really isn't hacking. All your doing is changing the URL of the page. Each armor has it`s own tag in the URL of the page so when you change it to the Recon Tag and refresh the page, it will show you with Recon, but you really don't.

um this method actually does work. however it is very limited and will get you banned(unless you change it back quickly). what happens is that the number code in the url is directly linked to what armor you are wearing. you can do this glitch for any armor if you know what numbers to put in.
