This was my first VM ever and I must say, I am relieved :3 But man, when Mikan was kidnapped I shed some tears (I knew she would come back from glancing at a comment -.-), and I just felt bad when they said "We start getting used to the life without her". But when they reunited... Oh my gawd, my eyes where like a waterfall of joy. It is weird, because I have never cried out of emotions before (oh btw, I am a guy). So for me this VM will forever be my favorite.
Tsukihime is the best visual novel, without question. dark, gloomy and tucking as hell, what you want morhe? O... and the story is brilliant, not talking about the best characters development ever.... ever played it? ekm, read it?

I really gotta say fate/stay night is pretty god damned awesome. its by the same people who did tsukihime too (type-moon) and its more polished with its interface. I do plan on reading tsukihime one of these days - I have both it and fate/stay night and I just happened to read fate/stay night first. I'll get to it one of these days.
I played the trial version ( the prolouge ) and it was really touching. There were parts when i was even gonna tear up !! It's not the stereotypical eroge which just centers around sex. . Well , idk , i cant play the full version.. But thats what it seemed like. 8D

Sex here is only natural that is why they cannot publish this as an official anime to be aired, as a hentai one I can agree but to side it up to Kiss X Sis is still impossible unless there planning on changing the whole plot when it comes to mating season.

The series itself need not be long, and I estimate it to have only a maximum of eight to ten episodes. If not shorter. Also, this is kinda like High School of the Dead, which I forgot to mention. But anyway, the story is adorable, and it merely needs certain tweeks and renditions to make it appropriate to become and anime.
@Roo520 Hmmm.......For your first comment I can pretty much see what your trying to do, cause one good example is Princess Lover, they arrange the anime first then a few years later they made a 2 OVA Hentai version, if were talking about that style then yes We Can!, and in addition we can also try the (Aki Sora) approach, if you watched that Semi Hentai anime then you know what i'm trying to say,, and also making an anime adaptation out of a VN game is common. .. next comment please
@Roo520 Continuing from what I just wrote, the main problem starts once again in the sex scenes, True we could cover out the mating season with an obnoxious plot hole, but since this is a game that was also known to have a very high amount of sex in it, either it be mating season or not especially for some of the characters, we cannot possibly make this an actual anime but rather it can only be animated as one of those Hentai animes which actually have a plot, do you get what i'm saying?
@Roo52 this is my 3rd Continuation, as i said this anime has way too many sex scenes which in most cases very important to the main story so simply covering it up would destroy its credibility and if they do try to do so it will still be a Rated as an 18+ anime which in some cases only distributed trough market sales so if that's the case then wouldn't it make it even better if they continued turning it into a hentai genre anime and if that doesn't satisfy you then try the Muv Luv series

To end this discussion, I just hope that someday, somehow, someone is going to find this game, contact its developers and say "This game needs a sequel!" or at least, something of the sort. @Roo520 Yeah I hear yah!, All dow was happy that they actually had an after story mode event, but still if were talking about real master pieces like this then its only natural to end it as it is, some few good examples of said master pieces which ended almost the same is Code Geass, Shuffle, Clannad, Muv Luv Unlimited, Muv Luv Alternative, and soo on, and sorry to ruine it to you but I think I heard that the developers went bankrupt long ago so there is no way this game will ever be animated.

I played a type moon game(Fate stay night), and when the screen was not full of blood they were contradicting what lore they have established. It was good but need a better editor trimming it down. In the end i didn't like any of the characters as people(except maybe saber).
Note: Fate/Stay night is the first game by type-moon. I also only played continuation of a dream and unlimited blade works.
Clannad anime was great and acted as a gateway. That why it used not cuase it's the best
Kuu was my favorite. The game started out interesting, but I lost interest when it degenerated into gratious and unskippable sex...needed more Kuu talking instead...
For the detractors, this game definitely isn't gonna be as deep and as intense as a Visual Novel the likes of CLANNAD, you're being unreasonable. The moment you see the intro for Wanko to Kurasou, you ought to expect it to be full of fuwa fuwa and low on deep emotional content.
It is like walking into a Toy Gun section of Toy's R Us asking for an actual working M60.
I know you're one of those Key fanboys so this won't go anywhere, but I didn't think Clannad was deep or good at all. Kanon, Little Busters, maybe, but not Clannad. I get tired of hearing people throwing around the name like its art at the expense of better visual novels.
I thought it was the sweetest and cutest thing ever! Take away the sex and you'll still get a really sweet story about a lonely disturbed guy who finds himself surrounded by friends, and maybe true happiness by the end all because he picked up a sick, cold puppy from the street.
You'll find yourself actually caring for what happens to the various characters in the story, especially Mikan.
I actually got sad and worried during the crisis towards the end. (not gonna spoil it)
This game was ok. Didn't care much for the H scenes, Even though they came constantly after another. I did both of the routes. I've gotta say, Risa's route was the deepest even though I hated the b****.
I just played through the game. It was cute, yes. But after the beginning all it was was just random sex. 80% percent of this game is dog-girls in heat I swear. Just ridiculous.People say the storyline is cute and stuff, but all it is is sex. Thats it. I expected a few scenes here and there that I could skip through, but I was horribly wrong.
Any one who found this the least bit touching or funny, go play clannad. This is shit compared to clannad. I am not saying that this is bad or not touching, but it never made me cry as hard as Tomoyo route. The problem is her routes not the sad in comparison to the rest.
Also clannad is a porn game. The art style is different so they look older(yes the girls in this are supposed to look as old as clannad).
If you want porn i suggest shuffle. I like it better then this.
@KawaiiKarissa Nope. Just play the trial, or use the skip function to fast-forward through the sex scenes. Once you get on a specific character's route there are a ton of them, so if you're underage or find loli porn offensive it's not really worth buying the full game, especially when there are so many other eroge out there.

I just finished this VN today. It was my first time with a VN/eroge and I got to say it really did make me feel attached to the characters after all that happened in the story.
So you basically get to screw everyone in the Game. Make some Random decisions which dont really matter and by the time the game ends everyone got married or pregnant and you happen to be alone. :D
I played this game the other day, and blazed through the story. I literally finished reading the translated English text before the voice acting even began. I followed Mikan, and am still saddened by the bittersweet ending days later; I can't stop thinking about this story, and I know I will play it over and over again. One of the worst parts about this, is that this world that I so quickly fell in love with, that has captured my very soul, is over, and will never be continued.

Once DAEMON Tools is installed and running (you may need to restart after the first install), left click the icon in the taskbar. @WarM0ngrel0ne of the VN i played to the end of at lest one arc, This one is the worst. The art style is inconsistent(at times mikan look 9 and other 18). The stoy was to H related and didn't develop any one but that well. The change in all but the main charactor happen during time skips. There was no gradule change for the dogs that were mental scared in the begining.

@mexicanlank Pure Pure the story of ears and tails is a good visual novel as well. If you can find it. The characters are cute and only 7% of the game is made of hentai scenes. It focus more on story and character development. It's still currently in translation by it's a very cute VN
@mexicanlank CLannad hands down the best VN in existence. It has bet translated pretty well into english. It has NO porn. I dont think there is a porn verson even. You will experence EVERY emotion. If you thought mikan ending was sad, you have yet to expernce anything.

this a pretty good VN. I've played this quite a while back. Mainly, there are only two route, Risa and Nadeshiko route but depending on the choices, you can get different scenes and cgs.... The story is quite heartwarming and touching.... I recommend this for beginner VN players as there is no real 'wrong' choices in this game.
I'm a girl and I loved this game. I wish there was more of that dogboy with white hair, though. He was cute. D: I did Risa and Nadeshiko's route and I almost cried. Mikan...
Any game that can emotionally attach an 18 year old guy who never cries enough to make him cry at the end of a game is great.
The game does an amazing job at making you love the characters. Though Risa's route is probably the best, while Nadeshiko's route is more...for teh pervs.
Also, there is a perfect English patch out. Been out for a while as far as I could tell.

I played a type moon game(Fate stay night), and when the screen was not full of blood they were contradicting what lore they have established. It was good but need a better editor trimming it down. In the end i didn't like any of the characters as people(except maybe saber).
Note: Fate/Stay night is the first game by type-moon. I also only played continuation of a dream and unlimited blade works.
Clannad anime was great and acted as a gateway. That why it used not cuase it's the best

For the detractors, this game definitely isn't gonna be as deep and as intense as a Visual Novel the likes of CLANNAD, you're being unreasonable. The moment you see the intro for Wanko to Kurasou, you ought to expect it to be full of fuwa fuwa and low on deep emotional content.
It is like walking into a Toy Gun section of Toy's R Us asking for an actual working M60.

I know you're one of those Key fanboys so this won't go anywhere, but I didn't think Clannad was deep or good at all. Kanon, Little Busters, maybe, but not Clannad. I get tired of hearing people throwing around the name like its art at the expense of better visual novels.

I thought it was the sweetest and cutest thing ever! Take away the sex and you'll still get a really sweet story about a lonely disturbed guy who finds himself surrounded by friends, and maybe true happiness by the end all because he picked up a sick, cold puppy from the street.
You'll find yourself actually caring for what happens to the various characters in the story, especially Mikan.
I actually got sad and worried during the crisis towards the end. (not gonna spoil it)

This game was ok. Didn't care much for the H scenes, Even though they came constantly after another. I did both of the routes. I've gotta say, Risa's route was the deepest even though I hated the b****.

I just played through the game. It was cute, yes. But after the beginning all it was was just random sex. 80% percent of this game is dog-girls in heat I swear. Just ridiculous.People say the storyline is cute and stuff, but all it is is sex. Thats it. I expected a few scenes here and there that I could skip through, but I was horribly wrong.

Any one who found this the least bit touching or funny, go play clannad. This is shit compared to clannad. I am not saying that this is bad or not touching, but it never made me cry as hard as Tomoyo route. The problem is her routes not the sad in comparison to the rest.
Also clannad is a porn game. The art style is different so they look older(yes the girls in this are supposed to look as old as clannad).
If you want porn i suggest shuffle. I like it better then this.

@KawaiiKarissa Nope. Just play the trial, or use the skip function to fast-forward through the sex scenes. Once you get on a specific character's route there are a ton of them, so if you're underage or find loli porn offensive it's not really worth buying the full game, especially when there are so many other eroge out there.

I think I'll ask fye for a special order or something. I tried the demo (prolougue only) and loved where the story was going. Can't wait. Oh and CountSmokeula, they're not all children. The cats/dogs are grown in cat/dag years and the one with short brown hair is older than the protagonists.

I played this game the other day, and blazed through the story. I literally finished reading the translated English text before the voice acting even began. I followed Mikan, and am still saddened by the bittersweet ending days later; I can't stop thinking about this story, and I know I will play it over and over again. One of the worst parts about this, is that this world that I so quickly fell in love with, that has captured my very soul, is over, and will never be continued.

I downloaded this game from a website (ht tp :// yandere(DOT)gray7(DOT)com /? page _id=7) It's the full game and the English patch, I ran the trial version and everything went well but when I downloaded the full version it won't start the installation process because it says it needs the disk. Is there anyway around this? I don't mind buying the game but I searched the web and it's nowhere to be found. Any advice would help. Thanks.

@CapitanKurosaki Same thing happened to me... Well u must install daemon tools... if u dont want to pay for it just do the lite verson. Once DAEMON Tools is installed and running (you may need to restart after the first install), left click the icon in the taskbar. For more info just pm me and ill give yew the link to the rest of the instructions :D

I am a straight female, and I love this game. Didn't care for the H scenes, but the cute and heartwarming story kept me going. :3 Recommended, if one doesn't mind the...themes.

The most emotional part was where Mikan came back to home.
There was a lot of good and bad parts. Usually everything was about
mating or dogs/cats getting heat. Storyline was excellent to me.

@WarM0ngrel0ne of the VN i played to the end of at lest one arc, This one is the worst. The art style is inconsistent(at times mikan look 9 and other 18). The stoy was to H related and didn't develop any one but that well. The change in all but the main charactor happen during time skips. There was no gradule change for the dogs that were mental scared in the begining.

I can Tell....the H factor in this game is the last thing to watch, remember that also that wasn't "simply H" just like some games out there....
there was H for a REASON and not for an excuse, the fact is that IT MADE SENSE.
If you think about it, a world with Antrophoid animals would rock, not for the H of course.

Yeah this Game is AWESOME!! I really enjoyed playing it, but the only thing that really bother me was the amount of H-scenes in it...If they just had lower the H-scenes and focus more on the story line, this game will get a perfect score =D
ps. anyone here has any good visual novels to recommend? preferably with little or no H-scenes and great story to it (one that can make me think and/or cry ^_^)

@mexicanlank Pure Pure the story of ears and tails is a good visual novel as well. If you can find it. The characters are cute and only 7% of the game is made of hentai scenes. It focus more on story and character development. It's still currently in translation by it's a very cute VN

@The9W0lf Really? because the story isn't amazing, and I heard that it starts out great, but then it turns into nonstop pr0n without plot, and at the end the drama is 'stupid' and 'rushed'...if so, that would be disappointing because it has great art/backgrounds.

this a pretty good VN. I've played this quite a while back. Mainly, there are only two route, Risa and Nadeshiko route but depending on the choices, you can get different scenes and cgs.... The story is quite heartwarming and touching.... I recommend this for beginner VN players as there is no real 'wrong' choices in this game.

First game that ever mad me cry, haha.
Any game that can emotionally attach an 18 year old guy who never cries enough to make him cry at the end of a game is great.
The game does an amazing job at making you love the characters. Though Risa's route is probably the best, while Nadeshiko's route is more...for teh pervs.
Also, there is a perfect English patch out. Been out for a while as far as I could tell.

And I think I accidentally got Nadeshiko's route the first time around, lol.....=.= the amount of H-scenes that suddenly spilled in was almost humorous. I was face-palming so much x.x but yah the Risa route was the best.
