  • I own 3 rtbs myself and I found a guy on YouTube who makes custom covers for tanks . Thes covers are designed for keepin the heat and humidity in an it will keep it breathable . Trust me this cover work . Just search custom covers and it will pop up his name is comfortly num3 hit him up if you are interested . He will even put designs on it check it out

  • Does the white bitch love black meat?

  • hahaha

  • I have Colombian RTB, not too much bigger than your's, but he bites and he is just not tame, friendly contact and settling in and all just isn't working. I've been trying to tame him for a LONG time, but he still bites, I am positive that I am doing everything right, I just don't understand. Can a snake be nontameable? I really need to tame him before he gets to be a huge adult. Any comments that might help me out?

  • nice tank nigger

  • Finally! someone who can spell "colombian" correctly!

  • LOL good point! and a pretty cool looking home too..

  • it dosent really need all that much heating... lolz... keep next to a window with natural sun light is better in my opinion but hey, lights and heat pads are nice i guess... and if its to moist for 2 long your boa can develop scale rot. I would recommend only moistening it when the boa is shedding...

  • nice setup how many gallons is the tank

  • thats really nice and gonna be a bitch to clean though. but hey anything for the Boa

  • beautiful snake,

    ugly couple

  • Hey be nice man! They look happy being together. That's the most important thing.

  • Looks like someone went all out at petco!

  • Blimey, she`s beautiful.... :)

  • people always fucking ecko earth its eeeeeeeeee co earth

  • Ok now.. next time I come into the shop ya gotta hook us up with the goods so we can do this for our new babies :) Excellent job- love the setup! What kind of light are you using?

  • Hey man, nice cage. I really like how you have 2 different substrates in there. I might copy it lol. Does the substrate get mixed around?

  • great setup

  • It is E-co (E)co eee-co eco lol

  • does that really work? with putting dryer and then more humid substrates on the hot or cool sides?

  • nice tank man. loads of respect to you my boa is already pretty large its going on about six feet and i have it in a 8 foot by four foot by 2 and a half foot cage which is plenty big for it. i wish i could start over to have a real bad ass tank while the boa is still a youngin but its about big enough to the point where the less the better i have three hides one on hot one in the middle and one on the cool, a jumbo litter box for a water dish so she can soak in, and then two decorative plants

  • Thanks on the compliment... I figured she would get to big and I would have to move on from the cool set up... but I just got another snake so hopefully my new snake can live in the enclosure afterwards

  • Nice girl u got there

  • those pitts are fucking awsome lol like them. i cant have pitts here there banned so i got two big staffys :D nice setup btw think one would be a good first snake?

  • Fellow brotha, you have done a wonderful job with your tank. Not many snake owners detail the important things snakes need such as a hide box and/or proper substrate. It shows that you take very good care of your animals. :>

  • Love your enthusiasm 4 AUTHENTICITY..U get a 10...BUT!!!..the Practicality?...u get a 3..nice size tank<<claps...but u gotta cut down in the FOLLIAGE Dept...TANK SIZE WATER HEAT is all that matters...u will lean this..specially when it comes time to FEED/N CLEAN...Cheers bro...btw..next time dont put your woman or your dog in the video...this is about snakes NOT women

  • Thanks for the props... I know the folliage is unneeded its there for my own satisfation and she actually does use it to hide in, but as she gets bigger the less stuff will be in with her. I have no problem cleaning the tank Im used to the amount of work it takes, and I absolutely do not feed her in her living tank (you shouldn't either). As far as my girl and dog, who cares its my video, its who I am. I involve the things that are important to me, its not or ever will be all about snakes for me

  • it doesn't matter if you feed it in its "living tank". it wont make them prone to biting you anything. i never had problem with my snakes.

    respect

  • technically not all cases this will happen its just a preventative measure. Remember that these snakes rely off of smell more than sight. Often times they associate the smell of a hand with food(especially with mice or rat smells on it) and strike as soon as the smell it... its called classical conditioning and even humans fall suspect to classical conditioning. It may not happen all the time but it can and does lead to a person getting bit... its just a preventative measure!

  • ah fuck off then pete!

  • @pantherclove i think its better to feed in the tank, this way, once you get them out of the tank, they will know its not feeding time but if you feed out of tank, it may make them think it is, i have a ball python and RTB and they are great but there are cons and pros to both in and out of tank feeding

  • I feen in my enclosures too. They know the difference between the smell of you their and dinner!

  • lol great reply thair bud, who dose he think he is telling you not to put your gal an ya dog in the vids. ide have told him ta get trottin on.

love ya snake, dog an ya gals nice to

  • you are really good with snakes i can see from your videos and i also want to be a herpetologist but i really want a frilled dragon do you have any suggestion on where i might be able to buy in Georgia

  • lol I grow mushrooms in Eco-earth.

  • Lol, yeah the stuff is multi-purpose!

  • will that fit here her entire life???

  • No the 40 breeder will probably last me about 2 yrs maybe more maybe less... I plan on building another cage in the future.

  • Yeah, that's what I plan on doing for my Red tail boa in the future. I have her in a 40 gallon right now. But when she gets bigger, I'm going to buidl my own tank for her. :]

  • Yeah I thought about the whole rock thing, but it seems to be fine I've had if for a lil bit now and no problems... I do not move the cage unltill I take out the rock (thanks for the advise!) But other than that the tank seems fine, Sorry for it taking so long to reply... I'll be posting another video within the next week look out for it!

  • nice setup how much was for all that.

  • Man I've lucked out with my setup. Got the 40 breeder from a friend I work with 4 free, the water bowl & hut I got for a discount at my job ($8) the ecto-earth 3 bricks for $10 should last a while. Went to family dollar and bought each plant for a $1 ($6) the big rock is from my front yard (sterilized), the dried cactus other rocks and other wood material was free from my ladys g-ma! thermostats were about $25combined, the lamp, bulb and substrate heater were about$70-80.00 combined (not cheap)!
