Nice Video Take a virtual tour of UCLA's residential suite buildings, Hitch Suites and Saxon Suites. These feature shared bathrooms and a common area That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You
Freshman year i had alot of problems and had a 3.0 gpa.
Im currently a sophomore with a 3.6 gpa. This second semester i WILL get a 4.0 gpa. I plan on being in honors next year and senior year. I am so motivated to get straight As, and will get them.
If all of this happens, and i have a 4.0-4.5 gpa, do i have a chance for UCLA?
Im currently in a very expensive private/catholic highschool in missouri. So ill be OOS (out of state) I need an opinion! thx
@dudegetsomedeoderant Since UCLA ia a state school, they're more focused on admitting cali residents. However, you do have a chance. but A GPA isn't everything. make sure your'e taking A-G classes (look this up on any UC website). SAT/ACT scores are important, so study. Focus on extra-curricular activities. The personal statements ask about leadership experiences. youll be competing with well rounded cali kids so you need your app to stand out. they look at the whole package, not just GPA
@dudegetsomedeoderant what catholic school Desmet, CBC, SLU, or somewhere out of STL! i'm transferring from mizzou to UCLA next semester! and i went to CBC when i was in HS, and i were living in st.louis...and its really challenging getting into UCLA!
@dudegetsomedeoderant yah i did! you'll get in don't worry if you don't keep trying its worth it! I've visited LA multiple times! From a Missourian's point of view its incredible, and if it weren't I wouldn't be transferring from Mizzou! And I graduated in 2007, and I also ran track and played soccer! ECA's (extra-curricular activities) do help a lot so do foreign languages. So try and get a little of everything on your application! I know its second semester for school in MO so keep trying!
@musicluva314 thanks! and yah, Ive never been to LA, but I have family there, and my family here is all for it. Im running track, and Im gonna be playing varsity soccer. Im also taking Spanish 3. Thanks For all the advice!
I'm going here!!
