kudos for trying. keep workin on it and come back to us! I personally dislike the electric guitar solos. Its a nice attempt to hit those chords near the end, which help really bring the original song alive, but you were far too rockish in my opinion with the solo. you shouldve just hit the chords with oomph and emotion and left it at that. or made the peice as a whole sound rockish, not just that segment. it also was overpowering.

It sounds really awesome, especially the second part, it's not the fan of Chrono Cross who's talking (I prefer the original one), but the musician, and I think the part with the electric guitar is great.

Whoever "Gord" is, he needs to fucking drop the guitar. His sense of timing is completely fucked, and I doubt any amount of practice could cure that (though he could probably learn to tune the goddamn thing). The terrible strat solo was just as bad. It's clear he wants to showboat but he clearly doesn't have the fucking skills for it.

Gord's voice is nice and deep though. Maybe he could be the vocalist.

@inuyashaspet i hope you're aware that this video was posted 2 and a half years ago, and that "gord" has been practicing and *is* a lot better.

This was the very first performance we ever did, and we've been playing together ever since. We even have a full band now and an onslaught of originals and covers.

ehhhm... I'm listening Chrono Cross music (original) about six years from now. The guys did a great job, but the left one sometimes (mostly at beggining) missed some tabs and played not on the right time (can't express myself correctly what i want to say, cos my english at musics is bad). But to sum up, good job :)

i have a good erh im not sure what its called in english but the ability to hear if it's tuned and the second guitar needs a little bit of tuning, but most people wont hear that it's tuned a bit incorrect.

I thought the guitarist on the right did a good job of keeping the rhythm and played it well. The guitarist on the left did alright, but I wasn't a big fan of his version, especially delaying and taking out a note at every so often. He totally redeemed himself when he busted out that electric guitar though. He really made the song his own at that point. Well done. I five stared and favorited this one.

yes and no. sadly, my game freezes at a certain part of the game (where serge changes back to, well, serge)

however, gord (guy on the left) lent me his memory card which had a savestate close to the end, so i played that and beat the dragon god and the time devourer (good way and bad :)

Hey i think it was a good job. this is the first of your that i have seen so i have no comparison nor do i know how long you have been playing guitar. The one playing the black guitar did an excellent job playing the background/rythm for the song. Granted its titled remix, the only good that come of the other player was the electric solo to a degree. How ever i still think its awesome overall for having the courage and confidence to go on stage and perform that. Rock on man.
