when your jammin to an eflat minor (pentatonic, black key scale). if you want to add a bluesy kinda rock and roll edge to the really clean sounding pentanonic theme. adding an A note into your soloing in the right hand or used in a walking bass line the A key, the key in between the two top black keys in the three black keys right in a row. it becomes very jazzy and even more fun to play.
This is amazing =) My parents never let me buy anything off the internet, but they might let me get this! But first I have to look through the other free videos, but I'm already convinced!
Like i never thought that i could ever play a good cord. Thank you alot!
But dang, i would've bought it but my parents won't let me do it.. Dang i wish there was a way for me to follow your lessons without me paying... But that is no option.. :S
damn. i have no idea how to play piano, but this black keys technique is kinda funny. i mean, like he says, whatever black key you play it will sound fine. i'm gonna buy a piano just to try that. nice video, thank you very much.
When you play the black notes everything will harmonize and the idea is to relax and flow and not think about which notes you are playing since whatever you play will sound harmonious and by not thinking you will get comfortable just playing from the present moment which usually takes years of serious study to achieve and here you can achieve it immediately. Try it you'll like it... and do it for at least 20 minutes and hold the susatin pedal down. It takes a while for the flow to come to you.

He's playing the black keys because it's Pentatonic. In other words you can play any black key(s) and it will sound good
