Its the moon. You can see it cresent right at the end. This camera is sucking in a lot more light then the naked eye so things look super bright. The thing that amazed me is there is a video out there when stars actually light up the clouds. Perhaps we just dont see it with the naked eye, but its still pretty amazing.

I observe jupiter quite often myself, and I can always pick it out the sky because it stands out even though viewing conditions where I am are terrible. I imagine the view of Jupiter at this altitude is quite prominent.

Elenin is a normal comet. It's closest pass will be about 0.2 AU, ~the same distance as Venus' closest pass. It's tail should give some spectacular meteor displays when we cross it's orbit. But that's it.

The light before the sun in the moon. The moonrise at Hawaii at the end of may was about 1 hour before the sun. At 1:11 in the video you see the moon and a bright dot next to it. Mars was close in viewing distance to the moon at the end of may at mag +1.3. Also at 1:14 you can see the crescent moon. At the end of may the moon was waning to a new moon on June 1st.

some mornings at about 6am i can see a bright red dot just above the sun but only for about 5-10 mins, and only a few times a month. @Robbolian I've been following Nibiru ever since 2009 and people have always falsely predicted a new date that it would be seen by the naked eye. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but i'm not sure whether it would pass the sun eventually towards our direction, or gets closer in time. Most of the time I think that Nibiru captures are mostly lens flares. Don't know about this one though!

But then again, probably not the dwarf star because it is supposed to be black as coal and not visible without infrared but maybe it is getting close enough now to see, I just don't know. I see the sun rising with Venus beside it and a few solar flares. Nothing unusual. Venus is making her way behind the sun now. You cannot see Venus at all in the sky because she is so close to the sun. Look it up on Lasco C3. When a planet goes behind the sun from the perspective of earth its called a Superior Conjuction. Its the moon. You can see it cresent right at the end. This camera is sucking in a lot more light then the naked eye so things look super bright. The thing that amazed me is there is a video out there when stars actually light up the clouds. Perhaps we just dont see it with the naked eye, but its still pretty amazing.

@OdsDeaThShaDoW go download Stellarium, input your location as Hawaii and set the date to 15th of May 2011 and watch Jupiter and a 3 other planets rise moments before the sun.
I observe jupiter quite often myself, and I can always pick it out the sky because it stands out even though viewing conditions where I am are terrible. I imagine the view of Jupiter at this altitude is quite prominent.

Just before sunrise the other day ( about June 23, about 1hr - 1/2hr before sunrise) I got a good sight of Jupiter, appearing bigger than when it was in the South, probably atmospheric lensing. In fact, Jupiter's moons would have been where the 'stars' are next to this 'planet x'
Next clear dawn I'll have another look to see if I missed something.

As you know some stars like brown dwarfs are barely detectable and that's true if they are far away in space because the light they are producing is weak to be seen with human eye under the atmosphere of the earth. Also there are much other stars that shine up there and catch your attraction.By the way IRAS is in the NASA dirty hands and they are hiding and airbrush the space pictures that comes out to the view of the wide public.Space technology=money from our taxes

Elenin is a normal comet. It's closest pass will be about 0.2 AU, ~the same distance as Venus' closest pass. It's tail should give some spectacular meteor displays when we cross it's orbit. But that's it.

The light before the sun in the moon. The moonrise at Hawaii at the end of may was about 1 hour before the sun. At 1:11 in the video you see the moon and a bright dot next to it. Mars was close in viewing distance to the moon at the end of may at mag +1.3. Also at 1:14 you can see the crescent moon. At the end of may the moon was waning to a new moon on June 1st.

But I agree that the first object was the moon which was evident when it reached the top of the picture the crescent moon is clearly seen.

some mornings at about 6am i can see a bright red dot just above the sun but only for about 5-10 mins, and only a few times a month. Somebody told me that every naked eye should be able to see nibiru December 2011? is this true because i believe nibiru is real... but not sure if it will happen soon mabye in 3-5 years?

@Robbolian I've been following Nibiru ever since 2009 and people have always falsely predicted a new date that it would be seen by the naked eye. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but i'm not sure whether it would pass the sun eventually towards our direction, or gets closer in time. Most of the time I think that Nibiru captures are mostly lens flares. Don't know about this one though!
