thats not a good idea...as the moss can harvest bacteria and fungi. Or are you referring to something else that is suppposedly free of both? Are you referring to real moss or like vermiculite or something?
I don't like the moss because Skittles likes to lick small things. But I heard a great idea is to put moss between a paper towel and it stays wet for longer! Everything moist can harvest bacteria, including paper towel, which is why you have to clean it often.
if i get a leopard gecko i am going to name it skittles too

I use paper towel over it just to be on the safe side but that's what's usually recommended if you're breeding.

you should use wet moss instead of a paper towel. Thats what i do.

it helps keep them moist. they need to be wet when shedding
