i remember watching this game and I cried when michael memea made the homerun hit. i was so overjoy with happiness that little ol hawaii team won th world series. world series!! this was the best team I've seen. they really played from the heart and they won.

I played with these kids when in 2005 in the regional to represent Hawaii for the Northwest regionals and we lost by 1 against these guys...I allowed 5 runs in the first inning against them and that micheal guy who hit the home run....i allowed a grandslam against him...however i hit a grandslam against them and then they won with a RBI Double i forgot who but that was a great memory
