  • Crap TV.

  • i love this tv

  • Dude That T.v looks Small But when you Were at teh Back of it You look Small lol...jk <:)

  • I love my 42in and 37in. Olevia TV's.....

  • i have the exact tv that is in this video. i have had it for 2yrs. now, and been really happy with it. from the picture quality to, what all of the features it has, until now. like i said the picture quality is great. i never hooked it up to my laptop till now. i used s video cable . a sound cable to use my tv for over the top monitor. the problem is, that s video 1 and 2 does not work. for sound or picture. is hook up the sound to another input, and it as well boesn't work. i'm getting pissed

  • Uh... Use the VGA port? Rofl S-Video is notoriously bad for hooking a computer up to a TV with. It's annoying to get it to communicate/connect and then it has weird lag times.

  • @PurityandDeath well, i guess unlike you, i can't find or prob. afford at least 15 ft. of vga cable. besides, i found a better way with a wireless connection. and it only costed me 30 bucks.

  • Wtf? Where in the world WOULD you find 15 feet of VGA cable? >_> Hahaha and why would you do such a horrendous zombie monstrosity? My thought is wireless the user input. Leave the PC (I'm guessing is what you're doing?) Or laptop (Which is what I'd use) jury-rigged next to it like a make-shift docking station for digital files like harddisked movies and have a wireless mouse (Maybe keyboard too) wherever you're chilling at. All nice and streamlined. ;D

  • i have this tv. its pretty cool but i kinda wish i invested in one that was a little more expensive.

  • a 42 inch tv it's not that big... It seems to be a larger tv that's because that guy it's some steps away from it... pay attention and you realize the real size of a 42 inch tv.

  • The size is a 42 inch viewing screen, how tough is that to figure out?

  • He's incredibly small. That's why they use him to show off TV's. Didn't you notice?

  • I am looking to buy an hdtv either a 32", 37" or 42". Is 32" big and what brand is best if you are on a budget? I want to spend about $700 and no more. I am considering Olevia, Voire, Vizio, RCA and honeywell. Only because these range from $500-$700.

  • I get my Viore 32" on Monday. Ill let you know how it is.

  • Check out my olevia hdtv review. I love olevia tvs!

  • Yea i agree 1080p is much clearer for sure

  • 1080i is just as good as 720p, but 1080p is much much better than either of the two before. anyone who can see can tell the obvious difference

  • Its been tested and most people cannot tell any difference between 1080p and 720p.

  • what a ugly shit by philips ambilight

  • This brand is def. the best of the shit i recommend it if u want to save money but u get what u pay 4 SAMSUNGS the best in my opinion by far.

  • Olevia???come on...buy a samsung or forget about it

  • We just got the 47" version of this tv

  • this is a great tv. really crisp picture and great sound, I have the 42 inch series 2 and it can handle up to 1080p. and I dont know if it was a mistake, but I got mine for $330 dls now that a steal cant get any better than that I did a lot of research and this tv gives the best pic. over any other brand.

  • Just to say have had this tv 720p Olevia 42" lcd for 2 years no problems.Have a 46" Samsung lcd nothing but problems, and $1100 more. Can say this is a very good product for the price!

  • really?

  • one of the worst lcd's around

i love how he says 'coaxial/optical input'

    ...they're outputs!

this says alot about about tigerdirect

  • whats so bad about it?

  • Hotblnd and Jason2 at google finance board for beacon power - you 2 guys are really a couple of whack jobs aren't you? Just where do whackjobs like yourselves come from anyway?

I cant believe people like you have managed to live this long - someone should have taken you out a long time ago - you 2 are real pieces of work

  • ugly tv

  • ugly like your mama xP

  • This guy does sound like a dumbass, but I've got the Olevia 42" 342i and it supports all resolutions, I've got Time Warner cable and HD works. The cool thing about mine is it has no tuner which you don't need as long as you have a cable box so it's cheaper than most models of the same quality. Olevia is becoming a name brand and leader for making great quality electronics at a good price, you should definitely check them out if you are looking for a new TV, I love mine!

  • lol this guy talks like a retard whos (like someone said) has never seen an hdtv before and is bewildered with the concept

  • I own a 47 inch Olevia, it well worth the money. This guy is a dumbass and is reading off of a paper, and talks like hes never seen a HDTV in his life, he doesnt know what hes saying. Olevia owns.

  • the brand is iffy

  • Wow I wasn't aware you could post profanity here so I guess it would be ok to say something like balthiusdorn after reading your posting I come to the conclussion you have some sugar in your tank and I bet when you sit you cross your legs like a bitch

  • I almost bought this tv at office depot for $699 on black friday

  • my cousin got 37 inch for500

  • This is a great TV, and the speakers are amazing.

  • Wow didn't realize 42" was so huge.

  • If you are smart save the money and buy a name brand. TV is made with very poor quality parts. The TV breaks down easily, and you will not be able to program your remote with this TV.

  • Ive had name brand tv s, that suck!

  • that's b/c they are a great tv that people want and are priced cheap so therefore your % take on the sale is less so go suck a big one

  • Consuers report best buy, great TV !

  • All Olevia's are 1080i capable. The 747 is 1080p which is better than 1080i, but not by much. Anyway, HDTV is not, and will not be broadcast in 1080p for a very long time so any Olevia will take full advantage of current HD off air, or set top programming.

  • 1080i capable doesn't mean much, since many displays (including lower-end Olevia's) still use 720p as their native display res, meaning that 1080i content is deinterlaced and scaled to 720p. If you want to see 1080i content in it's full glory you pretty much need a 1080p display (there aren't really any native 1080i display except for some older rear-projection CRT HDTV's).

  • 720p sucks 1080 is better, thats what i got

  • are you retarded? if you dont have a hd dvd player then you cant watch 1080P, and 1080I is in olieva tv,s that why people buy them, and its currently impossible to even watch TV in 1080P no company currently is able to do that, so 1080p is useless unless you have verzizon FIOS, or Time Warner Fiber obtics, and tat is very expensive

  • if you want to watch 1080i content without having it downscaled and deinterlacted to 720p you need a 1080p display. TW, Verizon-FIOS, etc... DO NOT provide anything in 1080p, because there aren't any TV stations showing 1080p. Even 1080p on HDDVD & Blu-ray aren't much better than 1080i because movies are shot at 24 frames per second, and this can be shown with no losses using 1080i.

  • I want this TV so bad!!! Well, not this exact one, but the 537H. Just a couple houndred more dollars...

  • this is a good tv, my brother has it.

  • :o! what movie was that on the tv? :S

  • some movie about a book, "unfortunate events" or somehting.

  • lemony snicket a series of unfortunate events
