Very sad and definitely gives a very different image of war than what is typically presented to us. I support our troops. The mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, cousins, aunts, and uncles who make up our military. But I absolutely detest the way our government places them in harm's way to further political and financial agendas. I have been in the Army for 7 years, did 5 tours, 2 in Afghanistan and 3 in Iraq. I got home from Iraq a week ago to this day... There's nothing I can do to erase the memories from over there, what i've done what i've seen is horrible and lost 4 of my very best friends. For me in here in the marines afghanistan is a sure thing. There is literally no doubt in my mind that I will go there before its over. Its weird though because part of me really wants to go.

@blessthefall251 I've never been but I have a relative who was in Iraq for 4yrs, he was only KBR (Haliburton people who dont know who KBR is), he is in his 30s, stands 5'9", weighs 280lbs. He has never been scared of anything, til he went there, he loved helping but we would all have to be very careful around him when he came home, he had night terrors & would jump awake ready to fight cause of the things he saw so I CANNOT imagine what soldiers go through. The mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, cousins, aunts, and uncles who make up our military. But I absolutely detest the way our government places them in harm's way to further political and financial agendas. I have been in the Army for 7 years, did 5 tours, 2 in Afghanistan and 3 in Iraq. I got home from Iraq a week ago to this day... There's nothing I can do to erase the memories from over there, what i've done what i've seen is horrible and lost 4 of my very best friends. @blessthefall251 I've never been but I have a relative who was in Iraq for 4yrs, he was only KBR (Haliburton people who dont know who KBR is), he is in his 30s, stands 5'9", weighs 280lbs. He has never been scared of anything, til he went there, he loved helping but we would all have to be very careful around him when he came home, he had night terrors & would jump awake ready to fight cause of the things he saw so I CANNOT imagine what soldiers go through. @sani848 yep we went there, and we changed the dictatorship governments in 2 countries, to a more freedom based governments in both, we took their countries away from ruthless dictatorships, and gave them their freedom, can your country do that? yes it did cost lives, on both sides, but of course, common sense should tell you that, and it could not have been avoided, we did not want to do these things, we had to, because no one else would, and it needed to be done, i am proud to have helped.

@TheL1LxJCx99 i know a few people who do this. its not out of disrespect for this country. it is because of the "under god" part. a large portion of americans are atheist including myself and yet it is in our pledge. i still stand just dont say under god. Im going to bootcamp next year so im definitely american. under god or not

Army wages have lowered and EXPENSES gone up for serving soldiers , so that theyll leave the army and join KBR etc . ($ 5 dollars for a bag of laundry apparently ! So the troops pay KBR for their laundry , coke cola etc ) .
Its more tempting to leave the army and join KBR.
