I Was Scread here in Austin,Tx the sky was Greenish Dark and i was scread that a tornado was going to drop but luckly it passed right over us and did it in Leander,Tx pass over you too.
If you have a weather radio, it will turn on automatically to tell you who's in the path of the storm and to seek shelter. But there are no sirens like you might find in more torando prone areas like Oklahoma, Kansas or the Texas panhandle areas.
No. This is about 25 miles northwest of Austin, TX. Central Texas does get the occasional tornado. Not nearly as much as northern areas of Texas though.
We live in the same neighborhood and had a wall cloud directly over the house. We were able to see an actual funnel developing overhead but it never dropped. I had the kids, pets and emergency kit in the downstairs bathroom for safety. We moved from Tulsa about 10 years ago and know tornado weather when we see it. Does Leander have warning sirens? Anyway, thanks for posting your video.
Leander does not have sirens. Cedar Park does, but the city is too large for most people to hear them. We have a weather radio and I also get warnings from Accuweather through text on my phone.
