@AspiringPotato we disagree most of the time true. but we all understand that the islam can't go away. yoou don't understand how religious the egyptians are. or how important religion is to them. copts have lived in peace with us and will continue to do so. we don't enforce our laws on them. they're only 10% of the population but are very respected. come visit.

thing is, we have al azhar, which is the heart of all muslims. hard to change that.

Jews also live here as well, in peace.

religion doesn't need to dissappear it'll have to evolve along with us. it will have to go through a major transformation, there's truth in every religion and they all should be able to coexist with love and respect, one thing that i like about islam is that it doesn't discredit other beliefs. if you ask me thats the way religion will have to go if it is to survive, a belief that is not based on fear or "choosen people" but on the simple premise that we are all brothers, different and unique.

Egypt's future is nothing without our religion. Nor will we accept it to simply fade away. I'm sure same goes for all the North African/Arab countries. One nation under the name of Islam Inshallah.
