@Antifaith29 Im pretty sure they had shitty video editor who got both planes mix in one. The first part when the F-15 took off was a Strike Eagle, and the last part was the Silent Eagle.
@Ultrasonicmolester It's an F-15E modified to test the new conformal weapons bays. The final product will have a 15 degree tilt on its vertical stabilizers, but will not have all aspect stealth, which is prohibitively expensive. Instead, the modifications will be aimed at greatly reducing the frontal RCS, which will be very useful in air to air engagements. It won't fool air defenses, but the surfaces on fighters aren't large enough to work against the new VHF radar systems anyways.

@123backinyerface Not downing you but they wouldn't scrap that jet for a long time. 1 on 1 the F-15 bested the Su-30 during cope India exercises. Now that it's stealth and probably only a matter of time before they look to take tech from the F-15 Active to make it 10x more kickass.

@taekarkung , actually back in 08 the f-22 was cancelled. It's just too expensive and it's considered " cold war technology" according to Robert Gates. The f15SE is goin to be our new craft. We already have around 180 f22s in our inventory . That's more than enough of that "futuristic" aircraft .
The F-15's only real problem is age. You might have heard about the recent grounding of all C models because of some mid-air breakups caused by years of g-stress on the airframes. We actually had to get help on air defense from the Canadians because there weren't enough F-22s to pick up the slack.

Better give them all total makeover, upgrading the F-15C to F-15F that was supposed to enter service back in 1997 as rival to EF-2000. There in no Silent Eagles builded... This is a Strike Eagle modifed to test and demostrate some of the Silent Eagle tecnologies.
Silent Eagles will have 15° inclined vertical stabilzers to reduce RCS.
In this Eagle, CFT was modified to locate the future weapons bay in order to reduce CFT too..
