@rhda8386 you know, i wish gh writers had made an effort to create an offscreen relationship between frisco and his daughters. writers made that effort for robin and robert during the periods when tristan was off the show. i admire the effort gh writers and producers have made to preserve the integrity of the scorpio father/daughter bond. it's pretty clear that joneses are expendable, life and legacy-wise. scorpios aren't.

But, old GH was MUCH better at keeping these relationships alive. When LnL returned in '93, Laura mentioned Rick's whereabouts - Laura and Rick hadn't been onscreen together in 10 years, but the writers made it clear that she'd kept in touch with him.

@rhda8386 oh, i totally got that you meant frisco and robin. it was just a jumping off point for me to think about how writers ensured the integrity of robert's relationship with robin by writing in visits with him in australia. something similar might have at least been considered where frisco and his girls were concerned. you're right. robin and frisco had a much more substantive relationship than he did with maxie or georgie. regrettable. and perhaps jealousy-inducing for maxie...
