anyway, my doc put me on strattera first after I was diagnosed by a psychologist. I lasted 2 days on the drug, before I took it back and said I couldn't take any more because it was causing allergic reactions(shortness of breath), and making me incredibly sick.

Luckily, my next doc was experienced with adult ADD and prescribed me ritalin, which i have had almost no side effects except sometimes blurred vision. We are working now to get the dosage right.

a note about straterra:

straterra is a drug that was originally intended to treat depression but it had no positive benefits. I think Eli Lily kind of tossed it onto ADHD as an alternative to stimulants to get some of their research funding back. I have heard of straterra helping some people, but I have mostly heard horror stories. Doctors have been prescribing straterra for a few reasons:

it is not a controlled substance

it is profitable

it is one of few that is FDA approved for adults

I agree that vaccines are made correctly and are dangerous, but I disagree with it be a cause, as I have stated in the past, I do not believe ADD/ADHD is a "disorder" and is naturally occurring.

ADD can be physically tested with urine neurotransmitters test.Even if is someones is creative it is a bad thing

Haha. You are cool. I didn't know that about Stratterra. I've been on it for a few months now. I have been thinking about trying something else though, becuase although it seems to be helping me focus, it also gives me some self-destructive thoughts and ma,es me feel really sick.
