Hi,im from Ireland, i am attending Minnesota University for the 2009/2010 term. I need advice on where to stay on campus as i am way over my head.....some where where there are parties but where i can get a single room...I would appreciate and insiders view thanks
Hi, first I need to know if you're going to the U of M in the cities or in Duluth because they are very different! All of my videos are from the Duluth campus. At UMD there are limited options for single rooms. It also depends on if you want an apartment (so you have to cook for yourself) or if you want a dorm (where you'll be on dining plan). If you're a freshman, your best bet is to just put Griggs hall.
thanks for posting, im pretty sure i want to go to UMD. could you post a vid on your dorm when it is all set up? just wanting to see what it looks like, thanks
Wow, with the exception of different desks and lamps, that is exactly how it looked in 1973-74. Our desks matched that dark 70's woodwork. My roommate's father was a Grain Belt distributor, so we were never without beer. Drinking age was 18 back then. We built a 'frustration tower' of empty beer cans on the ledge to the left of the window. On really bad days, we'd wail a can at it and send it flying. That's the same telephone! It was named High Rise Hall (all girls) when I was there.
