Hi guys, Amazing recipe..thank you so much for sharing. I really enjoyed watching this video of you guys...seems like you guys had a lot of fun and also I must tell you the chef is really patient based on the comments you guys were saying while he was cooking. Thank you once again.
ive actually tried it... but had a prob with the rice (over kooked em just a stater in kooking).. but the taste wass awesome... by the way "shan " biryani masala ive tried is good..
Hi I saw you are cooking this electric stove.. when you say medium flame .. should I cook it on setting 5 for 40 mins thats it ? Nothing on high flame ?
@archanachinthireddy : Hi, no need to cook on high flame, you might end up in over burnt chicken biryani if you use high flame. Medium flame means just put it between lowest and highest flame.
When you say medium setting . Did you cook the biryani on setting 5 for 40 mins? I saw your's is a electric stove as mine. So I just want to get right. Also no need to cook on high flame at all?
the laughing noise in background really cheap. when we are cooking we must do only cooking .and the amount of salt you added while grinding and in marination and again in rice it seems biryani will se very salty and it will be a bad experience for persons cooking first time.
guys this is the first video where you tell the exact indian way of doing the cooking and most of all no show off with any accent ...you guys are original.......which i like the most of it nd...it reminds me of my days wen i used to cook wit my frnds.
I've cooked chicken Biryani according to your instructions several times, and each time it turned out great.
The only additional item I add besides everything you've described is sliced boiled eggs. Somehow that reminds me of the 5 rupee biryani we used to eat at a place in Kazipet in the late 80s- early 90s. Man life used to be so cheap those days.....
Nice recipe...if you are using so much rice it will come out even better and evenly cooked if the topmost layer is say 60% cooked and the bottom layer of rice is 40% cooked. Likewise you can have smaller pieces of chicken, as opposed to the larger pieces in the bottom layer, as a second layer on top ..
fantastic recipe. One of the best biryani's I have tasted in a long time. Had to try twice to get it right.
1. Tried with 80 percent cooked rice. Turned on the heat for 15 min (high) and 30 min (low). chicken was little burnt and rice was too soft (for me)
2. Tried with 50 percent cooked rice (dancing rice) and turned the heat on for 15 min (medium (slightly on higher side)) and 30 min low. The biryani came out great. I like the rice not so soft.
Hi.. Would u pls post a comment on what your saying in the last 5 mins (esp for how long the biriyani needs to be cooked and if its in oven, the temperature)
