For example, in the beginning the singing (aaaahhh aaaah thing lololol) is from the original Halo Theme, after that they play Finish the Fight (Halo 3 OST Disc 2), then there's Earth City (from Halo 2 OST Vol 1). So yeah, just get the songs from somewhere and mix them together and there you have it :3

They need the books to read the music. Its more than just saying "ah". They have to know how loud to sing, what pitch theyre singing, and for how long their notes last. People are too used to listening to vocal music, and people judge the quality of the song through one's poetic license, the quality of the lyrics and attitude more than the actual musical quality.

They need to know exactly when to come in, how long to hold each "ahh", the pitch for the "ahh", the dynamics for each pitch (i,e., how loud or soft each pitch is). Actually, this orchestra only had 3 weeks to prepare for this showing, considering the amount of time they had to practice, I think they did pretty well. I have seen other video's where other orchestra's have had more time to practice and it sounds alittle cleaner.
