  • love him. i'll take anthony warlow in the vocal department, though!

  • I had the privledge of seeing this show three times. This was the most powerful performance I've ever seen on the Broadway stage and I've seen a lot of shows!!! If you don't get chills and have tears in your eyes when he does this song while watching the show, then you must not have any emotions in your body! By the time you get to this song, your emotions are riding high and he hits it out of the ballpark!!!

  • He sucks compared to Todd McKenney (the Australian guy who played Peter Allen in the original). Todd actually looked and sounded like Peter Allen, it was a travesty for him to be played by someone else.

  • There's always one isn't there. Would it kill you to complement a great actor??

  • Todd McKenney is the bomb. I saw him in Cabaret with Rachael Beck. Such a wonderful performer.

  • I saw the original many years ago and have seen the B'way twice and just listened to the 2 recordings. McKenney was good but vocally he didn't hold a candle to Jackman and the change of the show's songs as well as the orchestrations and key changes reflect that.

  • I heard of this play. What's it supposed to be about?

  • it's about the life of Peter Allen, the composer of songs such as "Arthur's Theme", "Everything old is new again", "I honestly love you". Hugh was great in it!

  • Hugh is amazing in everything he does, but his voice is just perfect!

I listen the TBFO CD all the time!
