Then you need to watch again. For he didnt. He was only holding the defender off. No elbow or whatever. It is somewhere between head and shoulder he touched the defender. So: legal goal, no faul. Freeze at 5 seconds. It Bergkamp had hit his face he would have had some very long arms.

@martinbats The defender is the one that tries to hang on, or prevent him from scoring, by putting his hand on Bergkamp first. It is only natural for Bergkamp to liberate himself from this. I wouldn't see that as a foul. If the ref would have seen these hands being involved as fouls, he should have given a penalty, since the defender is the first one to use his hand. To let the play go on, advantage, was a wise decision.
