I actually think this is fantastic. Very original. I can also imagine it in the final sequence of Fight Club, as the explosives detonate and Edward Norton's character sees a panoramic of the city, with buildings collapsing. Has exactly the right feel, sound and mood. Excellent cover.

Music is expressing your own opinions, not copying someone else's work, note for note. If you think this cover is awful, then fair enough, but i enjoyed it, and commented in that vein.

Hey, to each his own. I love this cover. If you want to analyse the versions, Yoav's cover is a rhythmic, slightly stoned version, with actual singing. The Pixies original is a wild, raw, off-tempo arrangement with caterwauling guitar, combined with "singing" that sounds like a drunken brawler who's just woken up and has no idea where his pants are.
