How do you get your hair to look like that. Just wash and blow dry??  I want to go natural this summer but may be kinky twist but scared it will damage my hair. Plus i'm about to graduate from college and they might not want my see my hair get natural. lol

kinky twists won't damage your hair if you keep it moisturised and don't keep them in longer than 4-5 weeks.

Please don't be afraid of yout NATURAL hair. Who cares what they think, it's what u were born with! Embrace!

Thanks for the reply Ebony Majesty. And now it's just patience I need to let this wave nuveau grow out so I can have virgin hair to use the flat iron. I happened to see someone in the nail salon yesterday with a very healthy head of hair...she also uses the flat iron. Thanks for sharing your 'secrets' and starting me on my way to transistioning.

Do you feel that the flat iron is safer than a straightening comb. I would like to use the flat iron. It looks as though it would be more gentle since you're using larger sections of the hair. I have heard flat irons are hard on the hair. Is your conditioning 'mixture' giving the hair the protection it needs when using the flat iron? Looks like it's working...I love your hair.

I have never used a straightening comb, so I cannot compare but the flat iron works for me. The heat protectant helps to prevent heat damage to the hair
