my Guinea hens r allways with me at my buss stop its so cute they also some times try to chase cars but then stop after a short while .wen they relize how far they r from me they come wadling back to me cuz they love ther daddy
we have guinea hens and they are AWFUL. they never shut up and the noise they make is worse than any animal i've ever heard. every day i pray a hawk or a cayote or something will eat them all.
i think that the people filming this shoulda got that puppy long before the girl decided to get it. that wasnt fuckin funny. too bad we cant see them fuckers attack ur asses so we can laugh at u.
Guineas are the best for turning loose on your garden and they won't scratch it up like chickens and they won't eat any part of the flower, leaf, stem, or fruit. They just peck and eat all the bugs with great accuracy. Good-bye pesticide . . . hello guineas!
Yes, Guineas are edible, but why would you want to eat them, when they are so good at what they do? We got them for tick control, and they eat all KINDS of bugs, including the dreaded Japanese Beetle, which is one of their favorite foods. They are VERY fun to have around, even though they are definitely loud as hell in groups. Their eggs are also edible, but tough to get into, since the shells are very thick.
I have guinea hens that run free in my yard and I was handraising a baby and they thought I was hurting it when I was holding it so one of them attacked me and gave me a scar on my arm. They are EXTREMELY protective mothers.
I guess anything you can eat it's more how good it maybe to eat. I never heard of people eating them. They do lay eggs. They are more used today in US for tick control. Nothing can get rid of ticks better then guineas.

I guess even bird brains know that dogs should be on leashes. They're just enforcing the leash laws.

I have had guineas before, they are really tough. A male guinea took dominance over my roosters.

Do these African yardbirds taste like regular yardbirds? Not that I would want to eat them, just curious.
