  • looks like a lil dwyane wade

  • The laugh track seems to make me laugh at it.

  • 1:42 I laughed so hard.

  • support comment

  • put that fucking pen down....lol great!

  • LMFAO! 'fucked his ass shut" WTF!

  • "You police. He aint."

  • Hahahahahahahahah this somehow changes the wire completely....should make a whole episode like this.

  • I remember the intensity of the original scene, and watching it now with the laugh track is damn confusing!

  • I'm Looking For A Song from The Wire....I've uploaded a Video already.
The Song Is not on any Wire Soundtrack...So If anybody know, plz....tell me
To Get To The Video Type In:
Looking for a Song from The Wire Season 3 Episode 1 Cutty

  • keep pressing 9

  • Lmao, I love it

  • did he really just say "fuck his ass shut"

  • That was dope

  • This video is a proof that laugh tracks work great

  • "How old are you? You shiny head muhfucka?" *Fake laughter

  • @MaxPlanck011 lol

  • This is the best sitcom on TV. Better than that crap like 30 Rock and Modern Family.

  • LOL. You did a pretty good job editing. Wow, that show would be annoying if it had one. love that you picked this scene, it worked so perfectly.

  • @wangzi if you wanted to go further, you could say that they're almost all using the laughter from I Love Lucy.

  • HAHAHAHA

  • Good idea. Nice vid but I think there are better scenes in The Wire than this one that would have been funnier. Good work though.

  • what the fuck is this? why did you replace your video with an unfunny one? gimme the original please

  • From the makers of two and a half men

  • linguica...thanks for being you. =)

  • Oh how I miss the tv days of olde, when the tv laughed so I didnt have to.

  • "Would you go to the police?" * Laugh track*

    LOL

  • Brilliant

  • lol. this is awesome. if there were enough of these kind of vids id turn watchinv them into a hobby

  • Fuck!!! Now I picture this shit whenever I watch this on DVD...

  • @drktigger lol. i have to admit thats kinda funny

  • LOL why the fuck am i laughing???

  • this scene is actually funny without the laugh track ... the humor lies in how naive, out-of-touch and deluded the university professor's views about inner-city youth really are (even though he's allegedly an "expert" on the subject and Bunny et. al. are just "dumb cops"). the scene that follows right after this one - where the cops basically laugh in the professor's face - really touches on this point.

it's dark and cynical humor ... but humorous even without the laugh track.

  • Please make a laugh track for the scene where they're killing Wallace!!

  • CLASSIC.

  • Hahha, I have never watched this show. This was freakin' hilarious. Just goes to show you that sound effets do play a key role in twirking with the audience's emotions.

  • Good work! I enjoyed that!

  • so shit.

  • Very funnt - well done!

  • hahahaha

  • made me laff a lot - nice one

  • Reminds me of Natural Born Killers' segment "I Love Mallory". Best black comedy joke ever.

  • Very funny

  • LMAO

  • They should ban laugh tracks, but they never will since how else will the imbeciles know when to laugh when watching sitcoms... I however find them extremely annoying and pointless.

  • @Solidus1086 I really cannot stand it, immediately turns me off. Why shows like The Office(UK of course) stand out.

  • The thing about laugh tracks is they tend to make you laugh even when the show isn't even funny. Watching this clip for example, there's no reason to really laugh at anything that's being said...But add a laugh track and somehow everything becomes funnier, even if it wasn't funny in the first place. It's a strange phenomenon.

  • @DonAgalloch The point of adding a laugh track to this show was for complete absurdity and juxtaposition. Only Adding a laugh track to a sitcom is pathetic since that means the show isn't as funny as you think or might think. And i agree, laugh tracks are archaic and useless. Arrested Development ftw.

  • @JBT24 Arrested Dev,, is wack.. Modern Family FTW

  • @ultraret That is just wrong. Modern Family is great, I'd give it an 8/10. But Arrested Development is probably better in every respect. WAY better writing, better actors, more innovation, the characters are also more original. People who don't like Arrested Dev just do not understand it's massive wit. Too bad.

  • Brilliant!

  • Not funny.

  • Lol. But in reality, why do everyone use laugh tracks? When you pull your shit together and ignore everything you've learned, you realize... It's pathetic! They're dead, empty laugh sounds. There are no people behind it. They're decades old, and nobody really laughed of their jokes. They film half an hour of footage, start editing, and then... They add "HAHAHAHA! Heheee! Ooooh! Haaaa! *clap clap clap*" ON TOP OF THE FUCKING FOOTAGE. I can't even describe it. It's pathetic. Should be illegal.

  • very nice

  • And it's still funnier than Two and a half men.

  • @Strand0410 i dont understand why so many people watch that show. Not STILL. Just EVER. I mean yeah i watch it too, but it's not the funniest show ever. Charlie was a drunk perv, Allen's a pussy and jake is stupid.

  • omg this is the funniest show ever. i laughed so hard i pissed my pants.

"why you f-ing with my head mother F*****" priceless.

Please someone put a laugh track on THE SHIELD!

  • Lol. Great video

  • that bitch is writing again

  • Ahh, more movies with laugh tracks. First one it seems. It has sparked a lot of videos, especially of various types of genres. It also seems there's no laugh track videos; interesting since they combat the original cause: sitcoms.

I'll be looking forward to more users' responses to movies like this. I especially like the 5 second and video into a song ones. Unfitting music, an interesting touch.

  • "Which sister?"

I wish I could give this video a billion thumbs up.

  • Weird.

    But interesting.

  • this is hilarious

  • I never noticed how funny the wire could actually be until now.

  • Reminds of The Big Bang Theory except this is funnier...

  • Whoever did this has a very good sense of humour.

  • @wangzi08 Intense info

  • @wangzi08 lucky bastards

  • @wangzi08 End Orsen Welles Quote

  • @wangzi08

Whoa! That's creepy!!! Thanks for that fact...

  • @wangzi08 Not true.

  • @wangzi08 thats so true and so hella creepy makes me wanna turn off this shit right now.

  • @wangzi08 No. From the late 50s to 70s, they used laugh tracks. But then they went back to studio audiences, for the most part. Most laughs you hear today are not tracks, they are studio audiences, and even if they are tracks, they are updated tracks. Do some research before you misinform everyone.

  • @myfacesp Yeah I agree. I don't think audiences from the 50s liked to whoop and holler like we can hear in the laugh tracks today.

  • "We hear that your sister was assaulted." (Laughs) Wtf?

  • @AskYoMommaBoutMe That's funny. Fuck head.

  • FUNNY!

  • ive been lookin for this scene without the laugh track, post it if you didnt mind. this is funny tho!

  • The laugh track makes it seem like there's a bunch of idiots watching.

  • This is some funny sheeiiittt.

  • this sucks

  • NOOOOOO... This is awful!

  • Chuck E Cheese!!!! haha

  • How is it possible that 68 people disliked this?....

  • Yes.

  • This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen!

  • @EuchridEucrow1 ya that was too funny

  • There's something wrong with this LMAO

  • This is fucking genius LOL!!!! I needed this lol

  • Well done!

  • holy shit i love this!!

  • these kind of videos usually suck but this one was very well done

  • This is fucking hillarious xD!

  • @Desmond3597 lol did you actually type out an entire paragraph? are you that butthurt about being called a faggot? must really cut you down deep, poor little ugly faggot awww

  • @Desmond3597 um, i pointed out that you look like a faggot? lol you mad? guess i hit home with that insult, faggot.

  • @Desmond3597 and you look like a faggot

  • it makes me laught hsausahusahusahsa

  • Nice. Wired with Children.

  • lol!

  • 18,How old are you,you shiney ehd motha' fucka'?

    XD

  • Which sister? XD

  • Now you just have to add a laugh track to "The Green Mile"

  • You have no idea how much i was laughing,

  • i think the laugh track just adds a more comedic, light feel to it, so you're more susceptible to laughing at dumb shit no matter what it is, even when it's a serious show.

  • hilarious

  • It's like mind controooool!

  • Watch Thiz DVD search on youtube

  • I love the wire but this is so funny!

  • More, please.

  • Fucking great!

  • this nigga looks like a fake ass dwayne wade

  • Great scene selection!

  • would be better without the laugh track

  • This alone is proof of how nuanced the writing and acting are.

  • that guy's such a pussy...

  • fuck csi fuck lie to me fuck every other middle american whiteman saves the day if its a blackk dude he requires a side white side kick' bullshit shows THE WIRE rules outright. the game is the motherfucking game yeah i wrote this already on another video but i say it again the wire mofo is crem de la crem

  • @Kashmirymuslim well Bunk had McNulty, Carver had Herc, even Avon and Marlo had Levy...

  • This is sooo funny wow lol and i love the wire

  • THIS IS AWESOME!

  • Honestly without the laugh track it's a funny ass scene

  • 1:19 >>> FUNNY

  • i think it's great :D

  • haha i knew it was the married with children laugh track...

  • dont you think the guy writing in this video looks like roman from gta4?

  • yes, cousin

  • There is too much laughing going on, so the video doesn't work as well as it could have. You need to let certain characters set up certain "jokes" and then unleash the laughter.

  • @chewbacca1010 But isn't that what's done with comedies today?

That's the point, the laugh track is way overused in today's comedies on CBS.

  • @ixcuincle Oh no doubt, but I figured the person making the video was going for the legit type of laugh track.

Personally, I find all laugh tracks to be rather silly, but this would be much more amusing if the timing were a bit better, is all.

  • @chewbacca1010

the timing was perfect you fucking idiot, you probably listened to 1 laugh on one of the more unamusing things in the video and started writing your comment before watching the video. FOR FUCKS SAKE MAN!!

  • @XxKuzaxX No, the timing really wasn't perfect, since the laughtrack was used every two seconds. That is the opposite of good timing sir. It undercuts the whole point of the video.

And no, I watched the whole video before sharing my thoughts here, so you are wrong again. I humbly suggest that next time, you think a little harder before you fly off the handle over a video on the Internet.

  • @chewbacca1010

your a fucking gronk, the laugh track is used whenever one of them says something that would normally be serious, therefore making it funny. The laugh track volume and length increases for the more serious lines.

    Ya fuckin idiot.

  • @XxKuzaxX So every sentence they say is serious? That makes no sense. This is a great concept, but the overuse of the laugh track ruins it. Even the most idiotic sit-coms have laugh track breaks now and again. Jokes need to be set-up first and not everything said is a punchline. Basic rules of comedy son.

Christ, I love the Internet and it's slew of over-zealous, half-baked, reactionary retards like you. Take a fucking valium, idiot.

  • I've always found laugh tracks creepy as hell.

  • I'm waiting for Dave Chappelle to walk through the door.

    "mmmm mmmm bitch!"

  • the amazing thing is that the laugh track actually WORKS with this scene. this scene is actually funny by itself w/t a laugh track (albeit it is dark humor).

  • I like the whooping when he mentions the guy's sister, straight off married with children

  • Which sister?

  • Lol

    Fuck laugh tracks

  • The great thing is that this scene is actually deadly serious in the real show.

  • @DeadlyV1RU5 I still laughed when he asked "which sister?"

  • @DeadlyV1RU5 it's not really dead serious at all

the guy being questioned (ran with the same crew as sherrod) isn't even there on criminal charges, he's just there for the guy's research

  • ROFL.

  • What a load of bollocks!

  • Married...With Children was filmed in front of a live audience.

  • Nicely done, great laughs!!

  • 0:28 was hilarious with the laugh track, and the part where the guy runs out the door was also good

  • Comment removed
