I saw that movie as a kid in the late 1940s and have enjoyed seeing it several times since. I got so focused on the action that I believed it was Africa. Oscha12, did you find it through your own investigation or was it just a lucky discovery?

@nemo227 I found it through research and by interviewing the son of the guy who dug holes for the explosives in 1943. In may it starts to get too hot to go out there so be careful and take water if you go. It is 26 miles North of Brawley.

BTW, I was just reading a biography about Bogart. Just returned it to the library today.

I read a lot of biographies and have found most of the famous people have had to go through the same kind of up & downs as the rest of us.
