  • My dad, used to have that car, but it kept on breaking down :(, and he got some speeding tickets

  • No, in Italy there were:

    spider: 3.0 v6 12v

    gtv: 2.0 v6 turbo 12v

    3.0 v6 24v

    3.2 v6 24v

  • 12V...??? It's wrong... the six cilinder have 24V !!!

  • until 2001 12V, and afterwards it got the 24V

  • Ah... but in Italy there are only TB V6 24V

  • Wrong! They had only 24V engines. Only the 2.0 V6 TB is 12V. The last 12V was in the 164.

  • No both the GTV 3.0 V6 and Spider 3.0 V6 had originally 12v engines. The 24v engines were introduced first to the GTV then the Spider. In European markets they had a 2.0 V6 12v as well. All 12v engines did not have hydraulic tappets - you need to re-shim at the correct intervals.

  • @turboamerica75 wrong... 98` GTV had 24v already
