eeeh... dumbass? It's done with PURPOSE. We knew what we where doing and had a spare mainboard laying around if if went wrong. So PLEASE SHUT UP with such stupid comments.
ever tried to press "read more" ? It's a freon can. Or more or less... compressed air, wich is driven by freon, so when you're holding the can upside down, it sprays cooling gas.

I have this laptop... is it easy to replace the HDD? and is it easy to get inside?
cheers

Yes. It's VERY easy do replace the HDD on D510. It's just one or two screws underneath, and the HDD tray slides rigth out if I remember correctly.
It's also easy to get to the mainboard. Just flip up the plastic cover around the power button, unscrew 3 screws for the keyboard and you are there.
If you want to pick out the mainboard it's a bit more fiddling, but google Dell D510 servicemanual and I guarantee you'll find one.

huh now you should go and buy 100 cans of freon gas and overclock your laptop to the exetrem :D
imagine what would happen if you have finnaly reached the highest stable clock then you run out of freon gas and then laptop breaks LOL
