  • hey man just incase your interested they have the polk monitor60 on sale again at newegg . They were 300 , now 100 with promo code EMCJHKJ59 . They sound freaking amazing with ton of bass when you crank it on your receiver. Ppl were going nuts when these were 150 on forums

  • @twiztid83222 Hey Thanks for the info, yeah they are good for the price but I've already got towers so maybe I'll keep it in mind in case if I want to upgrade the living room or something. I am looking for a new center though as the one I have it pretty small right now. Anyways Thanks again for the note!! I'll keep it in mind!!

  • @TypicalB18 omg i just picked up 2 more towers monitor 60s for 55 each shipped! open box not used lol.. They had tonnnns of sick deals

  • @twiztid83222 Haha Nice!! Wouldn't Open Box be used though? Haha Yeah I shopped around and they've got pretty decent prices!

  • I just picked this Polk Audio CS1 Series II at newegg for 40 shipped for cyber monday and the polk monitor 60 towers for 100 a peice. With the brand new pioneer 7.1 receiver that just came out for 229. was 400 Sick ass deals

  • @twiztid83222 Nice!!! You got a very good deal there!! Glad you got them!

  • @TypicalB18 Check out my system, I just uploaded a video. Wait for it to load :) This receiver is nuts though . I hooked up the mic to it so it will program itself but that didnt work lol. So I have to tune the shit out of it. I like the old receivers better lol .

  • @twiztid83222 Damn that's nice man, you've got a nice car system too. Yeah those auto calibration systems never work for me self tune is always the best. Anyways good vids keep it up, Subbed!!

  • @TypicalB18 Im watching the vid on how you are powering the subwoofer. I have a car polk subwoofer that I want to power up. I might buy one of those inverter things . Subbed

  • @twiztid83222 Haha Thanks!! Yeah a inverter should do the job! Do you have one of the newer Polks or the older ones like the Momo series?

  • @TypicalB18 I have the new one 370 rms 740 peak dual 4ohm so I can wire it to 2ohm or 8ohm. Im thinking I should make another custom box for it and wire it to 8ohm for more sound quality . Or do you think I should get a 2ohm stable amp and a inverter would keep up with the amp so it doesnt clip? I dout it will put out a steady 12v or is that what there made for under power?

  • @twiztid83222 Ohh, well to me I'd probably hook it up at 2 Ohm stable, since I don't have much in mind about wiring it up in 8 Ohms. I'm really not sure if they're real steady or if underpowered so that's another thing, So I'm not exactly sure about this so I don't have much in mind.

  • Nice song to demo with. I have the CS10, TSi200, TSi100, and PSW125. I am wanting to upgrade to the TSi400 for fronts and TSi200s to rears. Overall I'm really satisfied though.

  • @doomtomb3 Thanks! That's one nice set you've go there. Yeah I've sold this CS1 a while back with the RM7300 that were my fronts and I've got RTi4s & RTi8s now which that smaller center that you see in this video. I might get a CS10 someday since the center doesn't really match is in too small, and the Klipsch is still the same, but yeah glad you're satisfied!! Thanks!

  • hey bro quick question im planning of buying this one or the cs10 do they have in the back something to hang them on a wall or connect them to a bracket ???

  • @tattoosoul123 Well the CS1 & CS10 are both pretty heavy so there are no wall mounts or built in brackets on the back of the speakers. You can only find a aftermarket bracket that can support the weight to hang up the center. Also check if your wall is strong enough to hold the bracket & speaker too.

  • hi all. would this be a good upgrade from my Energy C-C50 center speaker? im just concern that this polk center speaker wont blend well with my Energy Speaker 7.1 set-up. Need for some advice. thank you.

  • @MrYoda1972 They are pretty much both in the same range to me. I can't really say which would be better. I think I would stick with the Energy since you have a matching set and it is a very nice center, but you could try CS1 and if it doesn't make much difference or sound worse then you could return it, but if it were me I would keep the Energy.

  • Dude your speaker wire is way too thin. Use a thicker gauge, maybe a 14 gauge wire with this. It will sound way better with a thicker wire.

  • @mrahman248 Yeah the center wire is pretty small. I have much thicker wire on the Fronts. I sold this center a while back so pretty much I'm using a smaller center now with the same cable. The surround wires were actually very thin so I had bought new ones which are about the same as the center, but I don't really know when I'm going to buy new wires. So I'll have to see.

  • do you need a receiver to use thiss?

  • @yogesh892 Yes you do. All center speakers need a Receiver in order to operate.

  • @in0wh3r3ul1v3 Thanks! I'll check those out right away!

  • HITACHI!!!!!

  • @ken6x Haha yep!

  • when ur playing the song is only the center speaker on? because if that is the only speaker, it sounds pretty good!

  • @misterpranktube I actually have all my speakers on. The center only pushes out voice and no other sounds depending on your set up. It's still very good though.

  • @TypicalB18 i held onto mine... im thinking of using it for accurate sound in movies and tv shows

  • @misterpranktube That's good. I had actually just sold mine today, I plan to get the CS10 but just recently Amazon raised the price so I might wait a while.

  • dude u guessed the reason for the slant perfectly! finally someone thats not a retard! mad props

  • @shawnboy87 Haha Thanks!

  • hey, nice video. can i use this amp: Pyle - Mini 2x75W Stereo Power Amplifier - PCA3? It is much lower than the 125W which is the maximum. Please advise me. Thanks!

  • @misterpranktube Thanks! Well it would be fine since it's only 75W per channel so you'll only be putting 75W into the speaker which fits pretty well, but then you would need too of these since that Pyle is a Stereo Amp so there's 2 outputs. I wouldn't recommend using a center speaker on a Stereo Amp but it's possible. The speaker says it requires 20 - 125W so 75 is right in the middle. I'm also pushing 75W out of my Amp too so it's perfect.

  • @TypicalB18 thanks for the quick reply! What kind of amp should I use then? The only amps I see in my price range are stereo amps :( Would the center speaker have some sort of problem with the stereo amp or is it just the case of not getting a good quality sound? thanks again!

  • @misterpranktube No Prob. Hmm well it would work I don't think it would have any problem considering since it has two larger woofers. Well I decided to plug mine into a Stereo Amp and it sounded a bit muffled and seemed very unbalanced. So I'm not sure about the Pyle you mentioned but for mine Amp I wouldn't use it. It sounds alright on low volumes but I didn't want to go any higher which might blow it. So I 'm unsure you could try it but I wouldn't recommend it.

  • @TypicalB18 I looked all over amazon and all i can find are amps for bookshelf speakers... like 2 channel or 4 channel speakers. Is there a specific kind of amp for a center speaker? Im a total noob at this lol

  • @misterpranktube Well Center channels mainly work on Home Theater receivers which are 5, 6, & 7 channel amps. They mainly just do voice if you were watching a movie. Bookshelf & Floorstanding speakers are mainly made for music, so really center channels are just for Home theaters which require a amount of money starting at $200. The cheapest Home theater amps can start at $200 maybe less for Used/Refurbished or discontinued models. Also do you have the speaker already or plan to get it?

  • @TypicalB18 i thought i replied but i think the internet swallowed it. would this speaker be better than regular cheap ipod speakers for music? i already bought it :S

  • @misterpranktube No Problem. I'm not sure if it would sound better than the cheap iPod speakers another problem would that there's a risk of damaging the Center if turned up that's something I would worry about. Cheap iPod speakers well they're cheap but sometimes they can sound better than the center since you're running a stereo amp to a center speaker. So I'm not sure but I guess it wouldn't hurt too much to try.

  • You're correct about the reason for the slanted cabinet design. I read it on the Polk website.

  • @lowfirepierce Thanks for Letting me know! I visited the site many times but didn't really bother to read all the info.
