"I do not know a single woman who would trust a man to take a pill every day" Wooooooo!
Well, it's about ten years on and this male pill didn't take off. So we're still relying on women to take their pill. And they're still forgetting all the fucking time
since having safe sex and staying "unpregnant" is the responsibility of TWO ppl, obviously, i would want my bf to get this pill if he expects the same for me. but i would stay on birth control and have condoms within reach at ALL times nonetheless not because i don't trust him but because i have to be actively involved too.
@BlindMansEye Will you then demonstrate for the male pill being payed for by the health insurances like the female pill is? Because if the answer is no it's just clear again where feminists position is on these matters as an all matters.
@omnissience i would advocate for the male pill to be paid for by health insurances like the female one since i think it's one of those things that is very important and can result in a lot of potential health, economic, and social problems if precautions aren't taken. as far as i'm concerned, there should be condom dispensers on street corners like in france and they should be free.
I have known women to lie to men about their birth control routines to get pregnant, just like I have known men to lie to women about their STD status to get lied.
Male, female, human beings can be pieces of shit on both sides.
What a douce bag, mangina, masochist boot-licker Corey Feldman is, being against the male birth control, in anticipation of the clap trap for siding with the chicks that were against it.
maybe what ppl need is to ALL (male and female) be sterilized and the ONLY way to breed is the couple (two people no matter the sex) go to a lab and have they're DNA taken and combined by licences doctors, then the baby grown in an artificial womb! LAWL :D
I love how each and every woman on this panel decides men are too stupid to take a pill each day, because clearly no man has ever had their life or well being dependant on the daily intake of a drug. I wasn't aware you could throw around double standard sexism on public tv and so easily get away with it.
Why is it so easy for women to take huge shits on men as a whole gender and people laugh, but make one comment about PMS on tv and you'd be blacklisted within the week?
Also not to mention we have to constantly kiss women's asses.. and women want us to take better care of ourselves but how's possible because American Society is for the Filthy Rich And for treating women like they are the most important thing on the face of the Earth.
I wish women would care about us, this show is old,.. but women today are still all about complete control over men. Men do not need anymore sexual oppression our sexual health has been ruined. Men in America have higher chances of developing prostate cancer, blood clots in the penis, they have a way lower sperm count than normal, and for the most part have small or average penises. The solution is have sex without the condom, there is natural birth control, and dsease control.
Hahaha, women are so fucked in the head these days. "Because women are the ones that get pregnant". Ummmm... ladies.... we have a part in that too, also in raising the kid after.
I'm glad there is a man's pill. This isn't about who is going to take it, and who is going to protect who, these women are very sexist to only be talking about it from a woman's point of view (typical, it's hard for narcissists to empathize).

And men will NEVER intentionally knock up a woman and have to deal with that mouth for 18 years. so woman it isn't an issue, you take your pill and we take ours. Guaranteed that 99% of the men would take that pill every day and probably twice a day just to make sure. You just want to be able to trap that wealthy one to put you on easy street for 18 yrs. Well durgaa its too late for me, I'm up to grandkids, but it will be nice to see my son have the choice and that he make that choice wisely. Yes get a good women, both of you decide when and were to become parents. Being a dad or mom is rewarding if you are ready for it. so be ready.
First having a child is not a decision that should be made only by the mother. Kids need parents, both parents. A male pill would take away that monopoly women have enjoyed for 40 years. And yes, women do force men into becoming parents and use the corrupt system to steal from men to support this unwise act. Kid are wonderful, I would not take for mine, but it would have been nice to get to decide when they came along. WE need to go back to marriage and what was originally intended.
@unclefixer - If you want to decide when your children are allowed to be gestated, then wear DOUBLE condoms - at All Times. Also, keep company with responsible women who actually can discuss serious matters with the opposite gender.
ultimately, women have final say... but for some reason the idea of options existing all the way up to that final say offend them (mmm mmm misandry). Girls: the male pill isn't for you; it's for us (men in case that's too abstract). If you don't trust the man, then use your options (your pills) and demand condoms with your partners. Leave it to us to also use our options as well as condoms.
Women do not like this pill, and I will tell you why. It gives men the option to say "no, you are not going to hook your mitts around my wallet for the next 18 years".
Also, if you're in a relationship where you can't trust the man to take care of contraception and take birth control issues seriously - you probably shouldn't be having sex with him in the first place.
Having birth control for those of both genders gives both power to take control of contraception and to avoid a pregnancy. But then again, they both already have that power - men can just use condoms while women use birth control pills. It basically means men won't have to wear a condom in a monogamous relationship (where they're both free of STIs) to avoid a pregnancy.
5:20 Sooo unfair of her to make that generalisation - how patronising and sexist can you get?! You can't compare handling contraception and birth control to forgetting groceries.
There are loads of couples who trust each other to take contraceptives and many women would trust their partners to take it. She also talks as if it's only a problem with men, there are loads of women who forget to take the pill or lie about it so that they can get pregnant.
5) So it could be fair to say, that many men will feel they can get away with being irresponsible and not taking a contraceptive pill and have less to lose in the case of an unwanted pregnancy.
Seriously though, either way, both men and women need to take care of contraception - even if someone says they're on the pill, use a damn condom.
4) Also, yes, the man has to put up with the consequences of an unwanted pregancy. But a man can easily run away from the baby, the woman cannot unless she aborts. It is to an extent, more difficult for the woman. E.g. if she gets pregnant after a one night stand and has no contact with the guy, she's pregnant and she may have to suffer the consequences while the guy may not even know!
3) So maybe the male contraceptive pill would probably be as effective (or as ineffective) as the female pill. You get females who are trustworthy and responsible enough to take contraceptives, etc. and you get females who are reckless enough to forget/not bother, or worse lie about taking the pill. Just like you'd get guys who would take it seriously and you'd get those who wouldn't bother.
2) Whatever the situation: even if the woman says she is on the pill, the man still needs to take care of his own contraception (especially in the case of one night stands, or other situations where they don't know each other well). If a woman gets pregnant, the guy could blame her for not taking the pill properly, and vice versa for when the male pill becomes available. But blaming the other won't change anything, there will still be an unborn child in the mix.
1) Ok, I hate the fact that 2 of the 3 women chosen for this are blatantly sexist. WHY don't they get reasonable women who will discuss this properly without throwing in misandrist comments - which obviously compromise their position.
But overall, I'm so annoyed that no one states the obvious - it's BOTH their reponsibilities! If you're gonna have sex, whatever your gender, use contraception!
"because it's the woman who get's pregnant" but it's the man who GET'S her pregnant, and has to deal with an unwanted birth aswell. IT'S BOTH SIDES BITCHES!
The Male pill is NOT a women's issue. If they don't trust us to take the pill, then they should take THEIR pill. The thing about the male pill is it is a sure fire way to keep from being a father before they are ready. It allows men to take control of their reproductive rights, that is all. It has nothing to do with women.
These are women that don't use any logic when trying to make their arguments and the one guy there is a total mangina that says whatever he thinks the chicks want to hear.
Just how do women figure guys play less part in having a kid and just automatically end every argument about it with "STFU YOU DON'T KNOW OUR PAIN!" There's no "not sticking around" here, you pay for the child either way, unless the girl doesn't know your name, in which case, too slutty fucking bad. Men are there for all the same ups and downs as women are, and stuck with the mother in their life forever, so obv guys would REMEMBER just taking a pill.
And fine, we carry the baby for nine months, yes. But we also ALWAYS make the decisions. I've never heard of a guy forcing a girl to abort; I have heard of many cases where the girl keeps the child though he really, really doesn't want it, and expects him to take responsibility.
These are what Bill refers to as arguments that 'make women nod' and he's absolutely right. When a woman says 'OMG YOU DONT KNOW A WOMAN'S PAIN LOL' it betrays an epic stupidity and ignorance. Hello this is the 21st century. They give you a spinal block and you don't feel a FUCKING THING. When a guy has to pass a rock through his penis they tell him to man up and piss the thing out. Do we bitch about women not being legally required to know the pain of war when one breaks out?
Women like that that woman who said men couldn't remember to take birth control make all women and feminists look bad. Trust me, we're not ALL like that!
At 9:46 you can clearly see that "Doctor"'s blatant sexism. Even when it's presented to her on a platter, she doesn't see how fucking sexist she is being.
"No woman could trust a man to take this pill." --- CHEERS FROM THE WOMEN IN THE CROWD
"No man could trust a woman to <insert sexist comment" -- HUGE backlash! Cries of sexism all across the feminist organizations in the USA.
Utter bullshit. Women preach about equality but are never held accountable of their own sexism.
5:20 She just compared remembering to buy milk to caring and providing for a child for 18+ years.
Trust me, if men had a birth control pill, we'd use it. EVERY FUCKING DAY we'd use it. There is no way we'd forget it. it would be a dream come true. It would make women and men EQUAL.
Why are women so scared of men having the same rights they have?
It's because women don't want equality. They have NEVER wanted equality. They want power, and special privilege.
I hope you don't think ALL women are like that. We're not all like that. I can't stand when women make jokes about how stupid or evil men are when in reality there are some things that I don't like about the majority of women and I am a woman! The fact is, we're all human and we should all be treated like equals. There will always be sexist men and sexist women and it's not fair to lump everyone into one category.
It's because many women feel it necessary to marginalize men whenever possible so of course she's going to distort the scale of buying groceries to the choice of controlling parenthood for one self (men). It's a clear statement on the value and perception of male competency.
The greatest irony in all of this is feminists and many women (who may or may not be feminists) are parroting the arguments which were attempted to prevent female birth control pills in the 60s and 70s.
@MrJohnnyOldschool This comment is so true. It is truth amongst truth. Men having birth control would be the best thing that has happened to men in a long time. I wish there were statistics on how many men were tricked into having babies using this lie women tell that they are on the pill when they are not. It happened to me and to a lot of people I know. I can't even believe how many people this has happened to. Ask your friends if a woman has ever lied to them about being on the pill.
"The woman is the one who gets pregnant" Yep, granted, but the man is the one who's going to bear the lion's share of the financial obligation for about the next twenty years and have diminished legal rights if the relationship ends. I've been on courses of antibiotics before - I never forgot THOSE pills, how patronising and sexist do some women have to be before they're brought to task about it? There's certainly no justice and equality between the sexes on this issue!
I don't know a single woman who would keep taking the pill if she desperately wanted children even if her partner didn't. Several of my friends have been 'man-trapped' in this way.
I wouldn't trust a man to remember to take the pill every single day, just like I don't trust myself to take it every single day. But hey if your both taking it... I would like men would want to take the pill if they are concerned about unwanted pregnancy or thinks the woman is trying to get pregnant on purpose.
A man could just as easily say that he would take a male birth control pill because women cannot be trusted to take the female birth control pill (which they can't!). If a woman is taking birth control pills and decides she wants a baby she will stop taking the pills and get pregnant even if the man doesn't want children or hasn't decided if he wants children yet etc.
What a complete idiot that "doctor" is. She doesn't need to trust a man to take his pill if she's taking her own. Nothing about the MBCP suggests that the woman can't take her own.
Man, I have to say... This show is quite interesting, but, come on! Real time is much better! I mean, the most of the guests are celebrities and some of their opinions were so stupid sometimes. I guess Bill is much comfortable right now! Amen!
MAN! That girl Monica starting to say what she said at 5:20 has to be one of the most sexist things i have ever heard!!. I mean i as a guy i think women wouldnt like it if i said a loud how *girls cant remember to do this or that* nobodie would probably laugh but when a girl says it then all of a sudden its true/funny?! O_o Well George Carlin said it best "Its the old american double standard"
Crowley is a fool. MBCP is not about women. It is about men. It doesn't matter if she trusts men to take it or not. It doesn't matter if she likes it or want it. It is not about her. If she doesn't trust it she can use one of her own 7+ different methods of BC. Why were 3 women and 2 men on the panel to discuss it?
this is silly, YES men should have the male birth control pill. If they don't trust each other what the hell are they doing with each other, also if you worry that one might forget then there's nothing wrong with both parties being on the pill. double protection. This is good, no more blam games.
It's not just the doctor that fails to see she's being sexist. Every woman in the audience that cheered when she made that blatantly sexist comment about men not being reliable enough to take the pill also failed to see how sexist they were being. It's not just the dumb blonde, woman as a whole need to realize what they're demanding of men is not equal and is not fair.
when it comes right down to it, women wouldn't trust men to take the pill because men can't get pregnant. if a woman doesn't want to get pregnant, don't rely on the man to take the pill.
You realize that you're being incredibly sexist? "Wouldn't trust men to take the pill?" What kind of argument is that? It's on par with "I wouldn't trust women to drive safely?" Or "I don't like women having control over pregnancy because they don't have to pay child support."
Your argument is deeply rooted in sexism. Men take courses of antibiotics all the time, and they don't forget those pills. Honestly, I am not going to sit here and try to convince you men are just as capable as women.
i am sorry if you think i am being sexist, it is not intentional. i am in no way implying men are "stupid" or "lazy".
men & women both drive cars... only women get pregnant, so i don't think your analogy fits.
i need to be personally responsible for my own body & my own future, therefore i wouldn't rely on another person to provide my birth control. i guess what i am trying to say is that, capable or not, it wouldn't matter if he was on the pill , because i am.
You talk like a woman getting pregnant becomes 100% the woman's problem. If ONLY that were true. Then your argument would make some kind of sense.
You're pretending that you were arguing whether or not women should stop taking their own birth control. That's not the issue that was raised.
And you know what? If you argue that you couldn't trust your man for any reason, especially with something with such serious consequences, then perhaps you should CROSS YOUR FUCKING LEGS AND FIND ANOTHER MAN
"And you know what? If you argue that you couldn't trust your man for any reason, especially with something with such serious consequences, then perhaps you should CROSS YOUR FUCKING LEGS AND FIND ANOTHER MAN"
not at all what I said and watch your mouth.
I never said that I couldn't/wouldn't trust a man for anything. It isn't a matter of trust, but a matter of personal responsibility. When I get into a car, I don't trust others to be safe drivers, I put on my seat belt.
The issue raised here is NOT if women should stop taking their own birth control. They presented the idea of male birth control and it's response by the female and sexist doctor was "It's the biggest joke going because no woman would trust a man to take their pill."
NOBODY ASKED IF YOU WANTED TO KEEP TAKING YOUR PILL OR PUT ON YOUR OWN SEATBELT. NOBODY.
When people begin ad hominem attacks it's a sign they realize their argument is weak. Did you know?
Let me know when you're ready to cede the woman on the show was out of line and the comment she made was sexist. And that every woman in the audience who cheered her blatantly sexist comment is just as guilty.
@Q4Knowledge just wait till you meet people who know they're being sexist. the good thing is, some of them don't realize that they're not sexist. one girl i know says women are superior. she doesn't proclaim it, she just believes it, yet she still respects men when it comes down to basic humanity, it confuses me too.
Men are not idiots- like we can't remember to take it?
Bill is right- it is so insulting. And the double standard is ridiculous, they'd boo if someone said a woman couldn't remember, but cheer because she said a man couldn't remember.
exactly! A guy will remember because we'd have to PAY FOR THE KID FOR 18 YEARS! one of our biggest fears is to knock up a woman. You damn right we'd remember! It'd be the 1st thing we do that day! lol
I get what you're saying cookimon, and I agree, but it's the whole thing about it's US that would be getting pregnant, not them, and I wouldn't trust anyone (male or female) to take it and remember when they wouldn't be the ones getting pregnant if they forgot, it would be me, you know? I do think it's a good idea though. We can never have too many different birth control options if you ask me...
Your argument holds no water. If the male took birth control that doesn't mean you'd have to stop taking yours. I like how you can't trust others in the department of pregnancy, but have no issue forcing the male to trust you won't purposely get pregnant because you want a child. Especially since you won't be the one forced to pay child support until the child is 18 years old. Your mentality is not fair to men, it's not equal, and it needs to change.
That's true. I wouldn't have to stop taking mine. That's a good point. What do you mean I take no issue forcing a male to trust me? I'm not forcing him to do anything. It's not my fault there is no birth control besides condoms. It's usually the guy who doesn't want to wear one, not me. Like I said, I think male birth control is a good idea.
Also, women do have to pay child support if they're not the ones with custody and they are more likely to actually pay it in full. I'll site that study later when I get home and can look it up in a book I have. You came off awefully aggressive and made many assumptions.
"I do not know a single woman who would trust a man to take a pill every day" Wooooooo!
Well, it's about ten years on and this male pill didn't take off. So we're still relying on women to take their pill. And they're still forgetting all the fucking time

answer the question, the only way I know how you just
don't understand..... natural birth control is getting to know
your body, and learning how a woman's body works,
tantric sex shows men how to hold every drop of sperm
inside until they choose to release it, that includes pre-cum
and yeah that's sort of a pull out method.

The doctor is confusing the issue...
ultimately, women have final say... but for some reason the idea of options existing all the way up to that final say offend them (mmm mmm misandry). Girls: the male pill isn't for you; it's for us (men in case that's too abstract). If you don't trust the man, then use your options (your pills) and demand condoms with your partners. Leave it to us to also use our options as well as condoms.

Who gives a fuck about this "sexist" shit.. Women are bitches and men are dicks. End of story.

Women do not like this pill, and I will tell you why. It gives men the option to say "no, you are not going to hook your mitts around my wallet for the next 18 years".
End of story.

this is completely sexist.
some women lie about the pill to get pregnant and trap there boyfriends(which most of the time doesn't work because they end up leaving them)
to me the male birth pill would decrease the rate of unwanted pregnancy's by A LOT

Finally, WTF, how have I managed to type a freaking essay on this topic on YouTube?
Lemons180 1 year ago
Also, if you're in a relationship where you can't trust the man to take care of contraception and take birth control issues seriously - you probably shouldn't be having sex with him in the first place.
Lemons180 1 year ago
Having birth control for those of both genders gives both power to take control of contraception and to avoid a pregnancy. But then again, they both already have that power - men can just use condoms while women use birth control pills. It basically means men won't have to wear a condom in a monogamous relationship (where they're both free of STIs) to avoid a pregnancy.
Lemons180 1 year ago
5:20 Sooo unfair of her to make that generalisation - how patronising and sexist can you get?! You can't compare handling contraception and birth control to forgetting groceries.
There are loads of couples who trust each other to take contraceptives and many women would trust their partners to take it. She also talks as if it's only a problem with men, there are loads of women who forget to take the pill or lie about it so that they can get pregnant.
Lemons180 1 year ago
5) So it could be fair to say, that many men will feel they can get away with being irresponsible and not taking a contraceptive pill and have less to lose in the case of an unwanted pregnancy.
Seriously though, either way, both men and women need to take care of contraception - even if someone says they're on the pill, use a damn condom.
Lemons180 1 year ago
4) Also, yes, the man has to put up with the consequences of an unwanted pregancy. But a man can easily run away from the baby, the woman cannot unless she aborts. It is to an extent, more difficult for the woman. E.g. if she gets pregnant after a one night stand and has no contact with the guy, she's pregnant and she may have to suffer the consequences while the guy may not even know!
Lemons180 1 year ago
3) So maybe the male contraceptive pill would probably be as effective (or as ineffective) as the female pill. You get females who are trustworthy and responsible enough to take contraceptives, etc. and you get females who are reckless enough to forget/not bother, or worse lie about taking the pill. Just like you'd get guys who would take it seriously and you'd get those who wouldn't bother.
Lemons180 1 year ago
2) Whatever the situation: even if the woman says she is on the pill, the man still needs to take care of his own contraception (especially in the case of one night stands, or other situations where they don't know each other well). If a woman gets pregnant, the guy could blame her for not taking the pill properly, and vice versa for when the male pill becomes available. But blaming the other won't change anything, there will still be an unborn child in the mix.
Lemons180 1 year ago
1) Ok, I hate the fact that 2 of the 3 women chosen for this are blatantly sexist. WHY don't they get reasonable women who will discuss this properly without throwing in misandrist comments - which obviously compromise their position.
But overall, I'm so annoyed that no one states the obvious - it's BOTH their reponsibilities! If you're gonna have sex, whatever your gender, use contraception!
Lemons180 1 year ago
"because it's the woman who get's pregnant" but it's the man who GET'S her pregnant, and has to deal with an unwanted birth aswell. IT'S BOTH SIDES BITCHES!
mikecappa 1 year ago
The Male pill is NOT a women's issue. If they don't trust us to take the pill, then they should take THEIR pill. The thing about the male pill is it is a sure fire way to keep from being a father before they are ready. It allows men to take control of their reproductive rights, that is all. It has nothing to do with women.

ninjanerd8 2 years ago 11
My God, these comments. They make me weep.
VanillaLips 2 years ago 3
And fine, we carry the baby for nine months, yes. But we also ALWAYS make the decisions. I've never heard of a guy forcing a girl to abort; I have heard of many cases where the girl keeps the child though he really, really doesn't want it, and expects him to take responsibility.
VanillaLips 2 years ago 3
These are what Bill refers to as arguments that 'make women nod' and he's absolutely right. When a woman says 'OMG YOU DONT KNOW A WOMAN'S PAIN LOL' it betrays an epic stupidity and ignorance. Hello this is the 21st century. They give you a spinal block and you don't feel a FUCKING THING. When a guy has to pass a rock through his penis they tell him to man up and piss the thing out. Do we bitch about women not being legally required to know the pain of war when one breaks out?

At 9:46 you can clearly see that "Doctor"'s blatant sexism. Even when it's presented to her on a platter, she doesn't see how fucking sexist she is being.
"No woman could trust a man to take this pill." --- CHEERS FROM THE WOMEN IN THE CROWD
"No man could trust a woman to <insert sexist comment" -- HUGE backlash! Cries of sexism all across the feminist organizations in the USA.
Utter bullshit. Women preach about equality but are never held accountable of their own sexism.

8:45 She says that she doesn't trust men to take birth control.
Okay, how about both the woman AND the man take the pill?
For fuck sakes, if you didn't trust a man to take the pill, then you can simply and easily take the pill yourself.

There's certainly no justice and equality between the sexes on this issue!
pete2778 2 years ago 5
the man would be expected to pay his share, but only if he sticks around
linzzyy 2 years ago
I don't know a single woman who would keep taking the pill if she desperately wanted children even if her partner didn't. Several of my friends have been 'man-trapped' in this way.
pete2778 2 years ago
I wouldn't trust a man to remember to take the pill every single day, just like I don't trust myself to take it every single day. But hey if your both taking it... I would like men would want to take the pill if they are concerned about unwanted pregnancy or thinks the woman is trying to get pregnant on purpose.
PRASFB 2 years ago
Man's pill???? is that finasteride??? Háaa háaa háaa...
jerryaltman 2 years ago
A man could just as easily say that he would take a male birth control pill because women cannot be trusted to take the female birth control pill (which they can't!). If a woman is taking birth control pills and decides she wants a baby she will stop taking the pills and get pregnant even if the man doesn't want children or hasn't decided if he wants children yet etc.
RunToTheLight1986 2 years ago
What a complete idiot that "doctor" is. She doesn't need to trust a man to take his pill if she's taking her own. Nothing about the MBCP suggests that the woman can't take her own.
She is a clown and on TV, no less!

O_o Well George Carlin said it best "Its the old american double standard"
givewingstomytriumph 3 years ago 3
Crowley is a fool. MBCP is not about women. It is about men. It doesn't matter if she trusts men to take it or not. It doesn't matter if she likes it or want it. It is not about her. If she doesn't trust it she can use one of her own 7+ different methods of BC. Why were 3 women and 2 men on the panel to discuss it?
valjean76 3 years ago 3
this is silly, YES men should have the male birth control pill.

It's not just the dumb blonde, woman as a whole need to realize what they're demanding of men is not equal and is not fair.
jrdv86 2 years ago 11
when it comes right down to it, women wouldn't trust men to take the pill because men can't get pregnant. if a woman doesn't want to get pregnant, don't rely on the man to take the pill.
linzzyy 2 years ago
You realize that you're being incredibly sexist? "Wouldn't trust men to take the pill?" What kind of argument is that? It's on par with "I wouldn't trust women to drive safely?" Or "I don't like women having control over pregnancy because they don't have to pay child support."
Your argument is deeply rooted in sexism. Men take courses of antibiotics all the time, and they don't forget those pills. Honestly, I am not going to sit here and try to convince you men are just as capable as women.
jrdv86 2 years ago
@jrdv86
i am sorry if you think i am being sexist, it is not intentional. i am in no way implying men are "stupid" or "lazy".
men & women both drive cars... only women get pregnant, so i don't think your analogy fits.
i need to be personally responsible for my own body & my own future, therefore i wouldn't rely on another person to provide my birth control. i guess what i am trying to say is that, capable or not, it wouldn't matter if he was on the pill , because i am.
linzzyy 2 years ago
You talk like a woman getting pregnant becomes 100% the woman's problem. If ONLY that were true. Then your argument would make some kind of sense.
You're pretending that you were arguing whether or not women should stop taking their own birth control. That's not the issue that was raised.
And you know what? If you argue that you couldn't trust your man for any reason, especially with something with such serious consequences, then perhaps you should CROSS YOUR FUCKING LEGS AND FIND ANOTHER MAN
jrdv86 2 years ago
"And you know what? If you argue that you couldn't trust your man for any reason, especially with something with such serious consequences, then perhaps you should CROSS YOUR FUCKING LEGS AND FIND ANOTHER MAN"
not at all what I said and watch your mouth.
I never said that I couldn't/wouldn't trust a man for anything. It isn't a matter of trust, but a matter of personal responsibility. When I get into a car, I don't trust others to be safe drivers, I put on my seat belt.
linzzyy 2 years ago
Wow, dude. For like the 100th time:

And that every woman in the audience who cheered her blatantly sexist comment is just as guilty.
jrdv86 2 years ago 3
@Q4Knowledge just wait till you meet people who know they're being sexist. the good thing is, some of them don't realize that they're not sexist. one girl i know says women are superior. she doesn't proclaim it, she just believes it, yet she still respects men when it comes down to basic humanity, it confuses me too.

Bill is right- it is so insulting. And the double standard is ridiculous, they'd boo if someone said a woman couldn't remember, but cheer because she said a man couldn't remember.
cookimonstizzle 3 years ago 6
exactly! A guy will remember because we'd have to PAY FOR THE KID FOR 18 YEARS! one of our biggest fears is to knock up a woman. You damn right we'd remember! It'd be the 1st thing we do that day! lol

Well I personally look forward to kids, but I agree if I wasn't ready, it'd be the first thing I'd do that day :b
cookimonstizzle 3 years ago
I get what you're saying cookimon, and I agree, but it's the whole thing about it's US that would be getting pregnant, not them, and I wouldn't trust anyone (male or female) to take it and remember when they wouldn't be the ones getting pregnant if they forgot, it would be me, you know? I do think it's a good idea though. We can never have too many different birth control options if you ask me...
annpetasupporter 3 years ago 2
Your argument holds no water. If the male took birth control that doesn't mean you'd have to stop taking yours. I like how you can't trust others in the department of pregnancy, but have no issue forcing the male to trust you won't purposely get pregnant because you want a child. Especially since you won't be the one forced to pay child support until the child is 18 years old. Your mentality is not fair to men, it's not equal, and it needs to change.
jrdv86 2 years ago
That's true. I wouldn't have to stop taking mine. That's a good point. What do you mean I take no issue forcing a male to trust me? I'm not forcing him to do anything. It's not my fault there is no birth control besides condoms. It's usually the guy who doesn't want to wear one, not me. Like I said, I think male birth control is a good idea.
annpetasupporter 2 years ago
Also, women do have to pay child support if they're not the ones with custody and they are more likely to actually pay it in full. I'll site that study later when I get home and can look it up in a book I have. You came off awefully aggressive and made many assumptions.
