This guy knows dick about basic economic theory. Money is nothing more than a common commodity that facilitates the exchange of specialized goods. Anyone who's taken freshman economics knows this, and the lecturer obviously does not.
Nobody is perfect and every movie, lecture or presentation has its errors or week sections. But I think we have to look at it from global perspective. The need is to get the main idea from both movies and presentations. That is the most important. After it, we can all work on the week places to fix them.
If we look at ourselves entirely first, we'd be able to see and think beyond global... more like universal :) The weakness is in a persons fear and inability to take responsibility. It's not that a person/society is uneducated or stupid; everyone has the ability to think. People have been engineered throughout the ages to be how they are and to believe it to be normal. Until that issue is addressed, it will be hard for a global change to occur. Thank you for your comment. :) Namaste.
@Purrfectstranger i agree ,few else do,I find it an extremely hard idea to communicate, people always see me as a pacifist.I would be interested to know who are your infleuences.
Yes I was the same. I was extremely skeptical and cynical at first. I ripped Zeitgeist apart and then put aside everything I believed in before making any sort of assumption. There was one fatal mistake Peter made in the first Zeitgeist and the beginning of Addendum but if you watch Benjamin Stewarts movies, you can almost forgive PJs indiscretion. I guess it's all to do with learning to think for yourself and ultimately, unconditional love. :)
The paradigm shift for society is where my criticism was on Zeitgeist and TVP. Humanity has to make that step toward social and cultural change and as it is now it appears impossible thus giving this ideal a sense of being unrealistic. We have been dumbed down for so long that we have abandoned our own power, humanity values and concentrated on selfish worth.
Hmmm... that Agenda21 is the catalyst for more devastation! A political hierarchical system with the same elitists governing limited resources will definitely give any power an excuse to build bigger armies (wasting resources) and enforce police states (dumbing down society with fear and oppression). Give the knowledge and the power back to the people... :)
