  • You really should consider getting some decent hardware cause the films you're creating almost demand a higher quality. I'm polish and I really like what you're doing so please think about getting GoPro Hero2 + something like Kodak PlayTouch + some software like vReveal (you'll be able to easily stabilize your videos). All these are not some fancy expensive stuff but will make your productions much more "professional". ;)

  • @RashbaNor When I bought this camera in 2003 it was pretty much a top of the range item. For the past 1.5 years though I have been filming in HD. As for software I am using Windows Movie Maker.

It already costs a lot of money to make films - I don't really want to spend more on them than I already am!

Somebody did show me some software to reduce camera shake - unfortunately I can't remember what it was.

  • I don't know why I was driving in when the bus was so convenient - and nearby!

  • I want to come to poland. My email address is txmuziknut@yahoo.com

  • 0:31 - the "autumn greys" :)

  • I dont follow....

  • @alanheath

In Polish we have "Złota polska jesień" which you have correctly translated, and "jesienne szarugi" which I translated "The autumn greys".

  • come to Łódź ! - 3h to Warsaw yeah ! great accent ! świętoksyski bryż :D:D haha

  • I think you're mistanken. At 1:55, there is a Dodge Durango, and that bridge is clearly the bride into Boston. Are you sure youre not confused? JK

  • Probably. I often forget who I am and where I am going.

  • Honestly, I wonder if there is a sister-city thing going on. If you look up the bridge that goes into Boston, it looks exactly like that.

  • @bg1379

    no its Warsaw ;)

  • @bg1379

    it's ,,Świętokrzyski'' bridge xD

  • Intresting movie. You are smart guy ;)

  • Alan youve got some quite good knowledge of Poland, hope You like it in Warsaw, though it surely isnt preetiest city in PL.

  • co za glupek!

  • kominiarz999 You are retarded. I'm sad when i see that such people live in Poland.

  • I'm Polish.Traffic in Warsaw is Normal !

  • Hey Alan!

I would like to ask you a question - could you give advice to person that has lived in the US 60 years and is from Germany therefore drove in Germany and Western Europe and has drove in POland in 1995. Now she's going to drive in Poland and I would like you to give some advice as to what has changed and what is unusual about driving in Poland!

  • The main problem in Poland is the aggression. There is very little custom of politeness, use of the horn to show unhappiness, no respect for the distance between one car and another, dangerous overtaking i.e. passing and immediately braking sharply. Bravura kills several thousand people each year yet I have never heard once of anyone ever being punished for it.

Therefore the thing to do is to drive slowly and carefully. Even if it takes longer!

  • I couldn't agree more !

  • If you want an example of aggression just see the two above comments (written in Polish). Cowards who get aggressive knowing that they cannot be discovered.

  • You're absolutely right,sadly it's typical.

Anyway, really nice to see you know so much about the polish capital.

  • STADION!! x

  • Good name Pozezdrze. I went there and filmed it!

  • For those that like to complain about the poor quality of my films this is your chance to have some input.

My Sony Cybershot - used for all films here but one - has given up on me. I do not want to buy a video camera - just a compact camera which I can carry around in my pocket.

What camera should I buy and why?

  • i meant way u say it

  • which?

    1. That you are from Suwalki

    2. That I am from Suwalki

    ?

  • One big BS, you're polish!!!

  • How did you guess? Obviously my clever attempt pretending I am British failed to convince you!!!

  • area of suwalki :)

  • Are you from the area of Suwalki or am I?

  • How long have you lived in the UK then?

  • alanheath, are you British or Polish? I was trying to figure it out, but to no avail :) You speak British with slight Slavic accent.

  • I am British. My accent is from the Newcastle upn Tyne area.

  • Oh, I see. Newcastle Upon Tyne is not in Scotland but not too far, thus the accent? For me it was always amazing how tiny UK has much more different accents than the huge US :)

  • Yes, it is strange that we there can be huge countries like the USA, Russia or Brazil which have largely standard forms of accent, whereas there are countries like the UK or even Italy which have many forms.

  • Nice video and bridge too...Warsaw is awesome!
