konami will still one of the best companies in the world if they keep mixing from the old series like this one reminds me of ( symphony of the night ) and also reminds me of ( the dark of sorrow ) if i was right about the name of that nintendo DS famous game .

it's the first time for me to see an new main character as a woman in the castle vania series xd .

hemmmm i think that this game will make a very successful job in the next generation games and i hope so .

i agree that it's very cool konami came up with a chick as main char this time and i am assuming you meant dawn of sorrow about other castlevania game for the DS? there is also portrait of ruin but i personally didn't like PoR that much. playing 2 chars was just too much hassle for me.

dood... i finally beat this game yesterday and it was hard!!...

now is time for the question... does this castlevania come close to or beat sotn... i would say but cant get my hands on sotn to even play it... heehee... i spammed the hell out of that purple beam when i got it from those green skelletons...

Symphony of the Night still stands as the best Castlevania game. If you play it, you'll see what I mean. Especially the inverted castle, which is hard as hell especially if it's your first time playing it. I suggest you get the original PS1 though, because the PSP port's voice-acting sucks big time.

SoTN was a great castlevania game but i think OoE takes over as the best new castlevania. i've played both and the inverted castle isn't hard at all. A big problem that fans complained about in SoTN was that it was too easy. =/

The MP regeneration looks insanely fast, will it be like that in game as well? Or just something in the trailer to demonstrate moves?

actually your character relies entirely on mp for all her attack because she uses and combines runes to spawn weapons, elements, effects, minions, or transformations. The more runes you pick up, the more combinations and abilities you will have

they're called glyphs, and not only MP but for the stronger attacks such as the lightning blade and chain lightning, she uses hearts, which are now back in the game instead of regenerating mp. it should be coming out today.

It's really like that. Since all your normal attacks consume MP, it needs to regenerate very fast. I just got this game yesterday, so I know. ^-^ Btw, this game rocks!!! xDDD

This is gonna be awesome!! the clock work looks like it gonna be hell for me cause my L and R buttons don't work well. but the new bosses look great!! Seeing death in green kinda bothers me but hey..its still death. lovin the music...only two more days!!!

Portrait of Ruin was average at best. It was a good game but not classic by any means. This game however, may very well dethrown Aria/Dawn of Sorrow. So glad they got rid of that anime style cause the signature castlevania style is pure art.
