The Government is wrong ,but as christians we need to take initiative and change our government. Minorities are starting to have louder voices than the people that started the United state in the first place. If you want change int he U.S. government, then create it instead of just complaining about it.

@MusikCity1 lol, i really do know what gay people are going though because i have family members that are gay, and an asexual one, and i went to school with a gay kid who just graduated. and is it a choice? i dont know, i mean, i would like to think it is a choice and that choice that they made can be changed, but i have met girls that say they have decided to become gay. so, long answer short, i really wish i could say i have the answer for that, but i dont know. :(

I was absent-mindedly writing to the lyrics to this song in my math notebook at school, and when the class was I over, I tore it out, crumpled it up, and threw it in the recycle bin. The next day my math teacher confronted me and told me that my little page was unacceptable. He told me if I ever said anything against the goverenment or society's ways again, I would recieve a dentention. So, during class I stood up and read the song aloud. So I sat in dentention. But I'd do it a million times.

It is my belief that there is always a choice. Do I get up today or do I stay in bed? Do I go to work/school? Do I eat this or that? Am I homo- or hetero-sexual? There is no gene, or lifestyle that can make you homosexual. Also no amount of beating can make you become homosexual. God made it so we had a choice to sin or not. Sure it's our nature. But it's my nature to steal or get angry, but I can still choose not to sin.

I don't think they're judging the same sex marriage. He's just saying that they're all products of sin. Now let me explain. Bullying and abusive families/ abusive relationships are wrong. But those factors or other emotional or physical trauma is usually what causes people to become "homosexual". Same with the murder, date rape and car theft. Something has happened in those peoples lives to resort to low measures and it's not always their fault, but it is still a product of sin.

In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

I was absent-mindedly writing to the lyrics to this song in my math notebook at school, and when the class was I over, I tore it out, crumpled it up, and threw it in the recycle bin. The next day my math teacher confronted me and told me that my little page was unacceptable. He told me if I ever said anything against the goverenment or society's ways again, I would recieve a dentention. So, during class I stood up and read the song aloud. So I sat in dentention. But I'd do it a million times.

It is my belief that there is always a choice. Do I get up today or do I stay in bed? Do I go to work/school? Do I eat this or that? Am I homo- or hetero-sexual? There is no gene, or lifestyle that can make you homosexual. Also no amount of beating can make you become homosexual. God made it so we had a choice to sin or not. Sure it's our nature. But it's my nature to steal or get angry, but I can still choose not to sin.

I don't think they're judging the same sex marriage. He's just saying that they're all products of sin. Now let me explain. Bullying and abusive families/ abusive relationships are wrong. But those factors or other emotional or physical trauma is usually what causes people to become "homosexual". Same with the murder, date rape and car theft. Something has happened in those peoples lives to resort to low measures and it's not always their fault, but it is still a product of sin.

God loves us all, gay, straight, black or white. So, if we as Christians are going to live according to Him, we should love everyone too. Denying two people who love each other the right to get married isn't love.

Being gay isn't a choice, and it certainly isn't evil. How can we condemn people for something they don't choose? Also, I don't deny scripture, but I don't blindly accept everything it says either.
Last thing, religion is not a valid basis for governmental policy in a country that boasts separation of church and state.

@The2ndSkaterChick I think that verse is Paul's opinion. According to some, Paul was a misogynist and an anti-semite. I'm not trying to totally discredit Paul, but he is human, and humans are imperfect by nature. As for Old Testament verses, it also prohibits the consumption of pork, planting differenct crops side by side and other random things. I'm happy with my relationship with God and my understanding of Him. Yours is, obviously different, and that's fine. I didn't mean to start all this.

That's what is so amesome about Yahweh. But yes he is in fact strict and harsh, though also loving and kind. Do you know what he called the leaders of the Jews? Snakes, brood of vipers! Actually I believe what Jesus said, "I did not come to destroy the law but to fulfil." I also believe Paul when he says the law is holy.
