Katie Couric was surprisingly respectful and attentive during this 'interview'. Perhaps she herself questions the official 9/11 story, but after seeing what happened to Dan Rather when he went against the administration, she is careful about stepping on toes.

Well, a cynical person (me) might also think that part of Couric's motivation for being so even-handed was she saw that videocamera and knew that if she'd acted poorly that it would end up on Youtube, so she went out of her way to say the right things but in a "safe" way. Such as "she heard" there were "problems" with the Commission. On the surface, questioning the official story, but not committing to anything specific, appeasing everyone.

Agreed but don't get to upset about it. She gave more than most do. And I think those are some "code words". Hope is something that works sometimes. Not every time but it does happen from time to time.

I talk to state reps about marijuana reform & I find talking does help. Often they are against but then hear from us & can't say no. Often they don't commit but you can feel the shift & then some do actually change. So that's my take. Never give up, be polite but informed and persistent. It works.
