how do you get the vocal tracks into songsmith? I have some vocal tracks, but im not sure how to import them

Open the Volume Control Mixer, and set your recording source to "Stereo Mix."

Hit record in SongSmith, then use whatever media player/wave editor you normally do to play the isolated vocal track.

It's a bit of a bitch to get the timing spot on, but as far as I can tell, that's the only way to do it, as Songsmith is intended for people who don't know anything about computers and wouldn't understand the concept of importing previously recorded audio. I think.

I turned the "happy" and "jazzy" sliders all the way up, and this is what happened. Haha.

I got it from a multitrack ogg file from XeroTheory's old blog...it's a Rock Band rip, I believe. His blog was taken down though, I think.
