I like James Marsters as a singer I really do, but I do not understand what side he is on in this song. This is the first time I have ever listened to it.

this song is so incredibly true... everyone throws the "god" card in *when it's convenient for them and their viewpoints*. if people could just (here comes the cliche bit that everyone preaches) get along! maybe remember that we're all in this together. it's not going to eliminate controversy; everyone has opinions, but civilized debate about human issues in human terms is better than just throwing some religious "more righteous than thou" mumbo-jumbo at someone.
